Weis Markets is a long-standing grocery store chain founded in 1912, with locations across Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia. The store is known for being well-stocked and supporting the community by purchasing from local growers, especially in Pennsylvania. Customers appreciate the friendly and pleasant staff, although some find the store to feel a bit dated and small, suitable more for quick, last-minute shopping rather than a full grocery trip. The store offers unique items like dried beef, which can be used as a substitute for chip beef, and has a dedicated area for gluten-free products, including gluten-free pie crusts. Customers enjoy the convenience of self-checkout but sometimes face issues with the machines and limited staff, leading to long waits and frustration. There is a common wish for more cashiers to improve the checkout process, as some feel the current setup places too much burden on customers and staff alike. Overall, Weis Markets is appreciated for its selection and community support, despite some operational challenges.
Just went or first time Cheaper than I figured. Thought was super fancy. More of discount grocery but decent quality will return

Store feels dated. To small, it's more of a last minute pickup, than a full blown grocery shopping endeavor. Staff are really friendly and pleasant though.

Good product selection from regional chain. Plenty of quality "house brand" items on offer.
