Wanted to share a story to prepare you for the kind of service you can expect here.
When I arrived to pick up my prescription today, there were about 6 people in front of me in line, and only one person pulling prescriptions (because of course, why would there be more than one?). After waiting about 15 minutes, there's still two people in front of me. A young woman walks in and takes a look at the long line for pickups, now probably about 10 people, and then walks over to the dropoff counter where there is no one line and hails the pharmacist, who drops everything and comes over to talk to her. She tells him, loud enough for all of us in line to hear, that she "does not have time to wait in line" and asks him if she can just have her prescription. I want to emphasize that those were her exact words: "I don't have time to wait in line." The pharmacist then asks her for her name, types some stuff in the computer, and goes and gets her prescription for her. In front of all of us still in line. We watch her walk off.
When those of us still in line protested, the pharmacist said "she's sick so I'm trying to get her out of here faster." Sir, THIS IS A PHARMACY. WE ARE ALL SICK. Are you concerned she has something contagious? SEND HER THROUGH THE DRIVE-THROUGH. Also, she looked and sounded fine to me.
Just appalling. Welcome to 2024. Don't want to wait? Just cut the line. No repercussions.

I live in the high desert outside of L.A. but was traveling when my script auto-refill kicked in and was awaiting pickup at my local CVS. Went to the local CVS in Maryland, pharmacy team member pulled up my profile in the database and handed me my script in 15min. Outstanding customer service by the CVS pharmacy team on a Sunday afternoon!

They are always understaffed and provide consistently poor service with long wait times. They will close the drive thru and not put up a sign. It is not the people there it is the CVS management.

I was waiting on the phone on hold for over 40 minutes without an answer. I’m leaving town tomorrow and need my prescription today. My prescription was sent in five days ago and still hasn’t been filled.

I TRANSFERRED MY PRESCRIPTION FROM HARRIS TEETER TO CVS BECAUSE THE DRIVE-THROUGH WINDOW. I AM HANDICAPPED AND THE DRIVE-THROUGH MADE IT EASIER TO PICK UP. HOWEVER, FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS THE WINDOW HAS BEEN CLOSED BECAUSE LACK OF PERSONNEL. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS IS A PERMANENT SITUATION OTHERWISE I WILL TRANSFER THE PRESCRIPTIONS BACK TO HARRIS TEETER, AT LEAST HARRIS TEETER HAS ELECTRIC SCOOTERS WHICH MAKES IT EASIER.

No one answers the phone, long lines in store where you’re waiting forever, when you need to have a prescription transferred it gets lost. I’m not sure why they don’t turn things around.

The drive thru window wasn't available because the store was inderstaffed. The pick up line was long and when I got to the front the employee "helping" me was incredibly rude and unable to even understand how a hyphenated last name worked. Sylvain you truly have "incredible" customer service skills, keep it up pal.

After surgery for a detached retina my doctor placed an order for prescriptions on aMonday morning. At 3pm on Tuesday it's still not ready. There has been no improvement in service here. Management needs to take action!!!
