If you are looking for a stylish haircut and need some suggestions – go to Funda at Maple Lawn Hair Cuttery. Funda listened to what I wanted, made some suggestions, cut and styled my hair just like I had in mind. She recommended product to strengthen my fine hair. There was no pressure to buy from the salon. I used the product for 5 months and can see the difference. Funda was friendly and professional. Book with Funda at Maple Lawn Hair Cuttery.

I had an excellent experience at this hair cuttery... the stylist Vee was very welcoming and cooperative.. because of hijab i don't get a lot of salon choices.. i called this hair cuttery and Vee was willing to make all these accommodations for me to feel comfortable and get the hair service i needed...she was very polite understood exactly what i wanted and did an excellent job for my hair color and highlights.. i highly recommend this place and specially stylist Vee if you're a Hijabi...

A nice way to loot people while providing an incompetent service. After having a haircut done, I was asked to get up immediately without even giving me a chance to look at what was done with my hair so that more number of walk-ins could be accommodated. My chin-length bangs were completely blunt and the rest of my hair was uneven. I have a feeling that they (Benish and another female staff) tried their best to provide a good service with haircut and threading, but maybe they are incompetent to do any better. Even after asking to provide me for a breakdown of my charges before making the payment, they lied to me that first I need to insert my card to see the breakdown. I believe every customer has a right to learn the payment details before making a payment. I am not sorry for paying them a decent tip as that money would help them and their families, but i also wouldn’t want any other customer to go through what I went through. I hope they take this review seriously and ensure that their staff puts some time into learning the art of hair cutting/hair styling. I also wish they teach their staff the rights of a customer and how important it is to not fool them.

Very low quality hairdressers. Felt rushed and unwelcomed from the moment I walked in through the door. Not to mention the end result of the haircut I had gotten was barely any different than what I had before… I didn’t look any different. I even went to another barber and he said they did not do a good job. Not impressed. Won’t be back.

Great place to grab a quick cut and style. Prices on merchandise aren't bad either.

Terrible experience. To start of the second I sat on benish’s chair she right off the back told me my hair was terribly damaged and how I have so much breakage and split ends. She proceeds to ask if I use heat on my hair, the shampoo I use, and telling me everything I was doing was wrong, telling me I shouldn’t use that shampoo. This usually wouldn’t be a problem for me however I have an autoimmune disease called alopecia, meaning when I am stressed out or have a lot of pressure, instead of my body reacting to it normally my autoimmune system fights against its self causing me to loose hair constantly. I felt rushed with questions and pushed to use all these different products that I didn’t even feel safe being able to tell my stylist that I have this disease because she was too focused on everything I was doing “ wrong “ . After this happened, when brushing through my hair she showed me the brush with all my hair in it telling me how it isn’t a good thing and I need to take proper care of my hair. Later after cutting my hair she kept pushing me to buy this product, which I could not afford, and kept pushing and pushing. It felt as though she was only there to make money from commission, not to actually help my hair in any way Later when my hair had fully dried, I looked in the mirror and saw the HALF INCH difference between my left and right side. Mind you, I know hair stylists, I have friends who are ones, I know to sit with good posture, which I did, I know not to cross my legs, and I didn’t cross my legs. So I wonder where you have to mess up for my to come home with a huge difference like that in my hair. Not only that but pushing the whole time that I needed to cut more off because of “ how damaged your hair is” this is a reason I prefer to go to bubbles hair salon, where I’m not scolded on how damage my hair is, instead, I am informed, and I am given ideas to things that could help it, not pushing products and asking me what I did wrong.
