Worst customer service. Everyone is just walking around the bank. There is one person helping and 5 people waiting. The only one who ever helps here is Natasha everyone else just knows how to say “ you can go do that online” well if I could do it online I wouldn’t be here.

Using an ATM machine with this bank is risky . If the ATM shorts you money or eats you card they will do nothing for you in any of the branches. Phoning customer service is a waste of time too all the do they read off scripted answers and never investigate complaints.

They don’t care at all. I’ve been a customer since they were Chevy Chase Bank in the 80’s and lived in the Kentlands for a few years in the 90s but have moved since. Every time go to the Kentlands branch they act annoyed I’m there and don’t help at all trying to solve things that shouldn’t be complicated. Even getting change for a $20 you just withdrew is complicated for them. They make mistakes and blame the customer. It unconscionable they would lose a deposit in the first place.
The Fallsgrove branch (5 star for sure) is quite the opposite. So friendly helpful and professional. Kentlands crew seems clicky and unprofessional.

I went the branch for notary service since I am a capital one customer and they did not seem to want to give me the service, and asked me why came here instead of just going to other banks. It's so rude and ridiculous. I'd like to give them 0 star if google had it.

One of my customers wrote me a Capital One check. I went with my current valid driver's license. They asked me for my social security number so I gave it to them. Then they wanted another form of ID on top of my Social Security and driver's license. So essentially I would have to be walking around with my birth certificate or anyone who wants to cash a check there will have to have a car title so you have to have a car or a debit or credit card from another bank which means you have to have a bank account to cash a check even when you have ID and your Social Security number it's absolutely ridiculous. I'm completely sure they don't tell people who are thinking about opening an account there that if they write checks to people to make sure they ask those people if they have credit cards debit cards or car titles so that they can cash the check they are writing to them. Banks are making themselves more and more

Terrible customer service. The only reason I keep Capital One is for notary service, and they now do not even keep one on duty. I went to two branches and none had a notary available.

At Kentlands branch, Naya I think was her name, had great patience and was very helpful with instructions for my mom with what she wanted to do. We were greeted and kept abreast of the short wait and very considerate if appeared someone went in front of us. Everyone was great! Thank you!

I don't normally do review on business unless they are terrible. The tellers here are lazy. They don't want to work at 4:30pm when the closing time is 5pm. I came in to do commercial transaction at 4:30pm , but they refused the service. Fine, I will bring my banking business to other banks that are happily to do transactions even minutes before closing time. Moreover, I observed the tellers here were very slow doing transactions with customers. There are better banks, better service somewhere else.
