I went to CHO’S AUTO SERVICE a few times for oil changes and their prices were fair. But back in 2020, my car had an idling vibration problem. They told me it was a belt issue and charged me over $700 to replace it. After the repair, the car was still shaking. Later, I took it to another shop, and they fixed the issue for just a little over $100 by simply cleaning out the engine system.
I felt like CHO’S AUTO misdiagnosed the problem and charged me a lot of money for something that didn’t fix my car. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

My father would always take care of my car services and since he passed away I would just end up going to the dealer car service. First time I visited here was because my car was making a sound that was not normal. I went to the dealer car service and they told me it was fine. I brought my car to Cho’s Auto Service and they were able to resolve my issue. I’ve never went back to the dealer car service ever since. I love that they are honest and anytime I have a problem with the car, they fix it. I’m glad to have found a reliable auto service.

I can't reccomend them highly enough. My wife's check engine light came on. I knew from my last oil change at Jiffy Lube there was some oil leakage and transmission fluid leakage. I had a trusted mechanic but he downsized his shop and is a further drive since I moved so my wife reached out on a Facebook group to try and find an honest mechanic. And believe me I am still saying thank you for the people who reccomended Cho's Auto. I'm on disability and money is very tight, and on top the car was how my wife makes income so was a necessity but had very little money to throw at whatever problem there was. I called the other highly recommended shop and when explaining the problem I was answered with it will be $189 to diagnose. So I called Cho's. He just said bring it in. And while I was prepared to pay a diagnostic fee I never needed too. Instead they went over every issue from what turned the light on, to oil and transmission leak. Axle issue. Etc. The mechanic called me Thursday right before close to update me on what he found. After listing 5 or 6 things I was almost having a panic attack. I explained my situation (being on disability and not having much disposable income) and asked if there was a way we could prioritize what was most important to get the car back on the road. I was surprised and thankful to hear the mechanic right away state that nothing was a safety issue, and that the car was not going to break down. It's just an older car and things start to wear and break. He wanted to check a few things the next morning before going over what I wanted done, but I can tell you that phone call helped me sleep that night. The next day he went over every issue and what the estimate was. I said let's do the Transmission which seamed the most important (quoted $280) and asked if we could wait until the next month to do a valve which could be a range of $500-700. He said he'd reccomended the oil leak before that which would be another $280. The valve wouldn't be an issue in all honesty so I said let's do the 2 and get it back on the road. It took another day or 2 to finish, but when I was called that next morning and we went to pick it up the total was $480, so $80 cheaper then the estimate. So in summary not only did they not try to sell me on anything unnecessary, they prioritized what would help the most for the least amount of money with honest advice, and even then the total came in almost $100 less then the estimate. I can't thank them enough for their honesty. Most mechanics would try to take advantage of you but they really looked out for me. If you need someone new and you don't have a trusted mechanic go check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Do not go here if you are BLACK. They saw a new car pull into the lot and walked out to greet me. As soon as I step out the car they turn their head and look away. Once I walk in I’m told they go by appointments only. It was 8am and there was no one there. Two cars were finished being serviced in my 5 minutes in the parking lot. I came from 20 miles away to get an oil change because of the reviews on here. He tells me I need to leave the car and it won’t be done until noon. I’m sure they’re a great service when they aren’t judging you, but like I said if you’re black don’t bother. You can see the disdain in their face. Thanks for nothing.

I will never go to anyone else ever again. Being a woman — I have been put through the wringer with mechanics and being up charged and additional services that were not needed added on but Mr. Cho and his team are so nice and honest. Plus the best prices I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend!!

Our family has been using Cho's to service four different cars over the course of about 30 years.
We've never experienced anything other that work that's done affordably and skillfully, at no point over the decades have we left Cho's feeling cheated by an extra charge - instead we marvel at the price difference compared to getting repaired at a dealership.
Trusting your car with Larry is the best decision you'll make if you've got automotive issues!!

Great auto repair shop. I've been bringing my cars here for years. Just brought my Forester in for a grumbling noise and found a wheel bearing shot. They started at 2pm and finished before closing!
