The store has become a joke and a rip off! It seems like they have doubled their prices on basically everything. I just wanted to buy vitamins which are nine dollars at giant grocery store and at CVS they are $28.49! Same exact bottle same size. I seethis in many of their products. Do not shop at this rip off establishment. Plus they have no customer service and many of the stores are filthy dirty and disorganized. They will not see a dollar Of my money at any time

Plenty of available parking here. No actual cashiers. Just two employees at self checkout. The machines were barely working. What kind of place is this?! Still had to get an employee to assist. It's fairly clean, but I definitely don't see myself going back. It's in a nice area but sorry!

The absolute worst pharmacy in the area. I urge everyone to stay away from here. They keep screwing up prescriptions, missing where they stocked them, and almost never answering the phone. Absolutely ridiculous.

Pharmacy run by people who think they have the authority to overrule doctors and Hospitals. We have been running around trying to get my father home from a rehab center for a broken hip. No big deal, just lots of little things to think about to make a place safe and useful. In the midst of the errands someone sends prescriptions over to CVS and I am assigned to go pick them up.One of them is for 6 Warfarin pills. It was basically the rehab place sending a small supply in case we had lost rack of his exiting pills over the past few weeks.Get to the CVS and it is not ready, not only that but the gatekeeper tells they won't fill it. I ask if there is a question about the Dr.'s approval? No, it is that in their records she feels he has a sufficient supply and does not need these. WTF, a clerk at a pharmacy counter suddenly with zero information and context has more authority than a rehab center and Dr.s on a patients medical needs? He normally pays $3.17 for 90 of these little pills. She wound up saying if I paid full retail, I could get the 6 pills. $12 later I left with the pills.Since when did the flipping clerk at the register get the power and authority to deny patients their prescriptions?Run from this place, sadly it serves a lot of old people at Asbury.

Store is always closed although it states that it is 24/7. No staff present or proper signs as to why they are closed or if they will reopen . Store closes between 10-30 to 11pm now

The CVS on Montgomery Village is the most ratchet pharmacy imaginable The carpet is filthy, with trash on the floors The Pharmacy staff are overworked crowded stressed looking a bit short tempered and abrupt. I wonder how many medication errors are made in that environment? I went there on Wed evening to pick up my medicine. The line to pick up medication was 20 people deep . Of course when I got to the counter it wasn't there and they asked me to go to the drop off counter that was about eight people deep. Can you imagine ? After having me stand in one line for over 20 minutes then asking me to stand in another line as if I were at the MVA? This place would shame a third world pharmacy. My oppressive insurance company is in bed with Caremark forcing me to get my medication from CVS. I left called my doctor and asked him to call my medication into the Giant . I drove over there picked up my medication in about 30 min and went home That is service

Poor customer service. My father; who has been sick; called to check to see if his medications were ready and he was told they were ready and the person hung up on him. So glad I do not use CVS for my prescription services. You would think that the pharmacy staff would have the decency to be nice to people, sick or otherwise! so sad!!

We moved to Gaithersburg in December 2022. This CVS was walking distance from our condo so we thought we'd try it. The pharmacy workers there are very rude and we did not go back there after two tries. We found another pharmacy nearby and it is a very nice and organized place to do business.

Highly recommend finding another pharmacy for your needs. Very disorganized and terrible communication.

This is the worst CVS pharmacy I think I've ever been to and yet I keep coming back because it's the pharmacy that serves my location. It's seems like the don't care because it's in a lower income area, and that's pretty unfair. The store, especially pharmacy area, is dirty. Trash on the floor constantly, dust everywhere. The pharmacy staff is generally incompetent. Nearly every time I fill a script they run it without insurance and then make me wait while they redo it. I've been at the pharmacy when they do it to other people. My only guess for why they do this is that they are trying to have prescriptions done by the promised time so they fill them without processing insurance so that the patient gets an alert that it is done in time. The pharmacist is a disaster. On various occasions I have heard her loudly yelling to patients from behind the counter about their medications (last time she talked about a poor woman's Valtrex). This month, after they again messed up my RX and I had to wait in my car while they fixed it, I came back into the pharmacy to hear that the pharmacist HAD A PATIENT ON SPEAKER PHONE. When she got off the call, she said to the cashier, "That was First Name Last Name calling about his pain medicine again," and then she complained about the guy. Absolutely no regard for patient privacy or HIPPA.
