My company recently had a disappointing experience with Emerald City Automotive. Initially, they provided us with a quote for their services which included waving the diagnostic fee if we agreed to proceed with the work. However, the manager Keith failed to follow through on his price. This lack of professionalism and disregard for the initial quote left us feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. It is disheartening when a business goes back on its word and fails to honor the agreed-upon terms. The unkind and unprofessional behavior displayed by Keith further compounded our disappointment. I would caution others to be wary of potential discrepancies between their quoted prices and the final charges.

Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had from a auto shop. Great work, great service, and they work hard. I 100% recommend going here!

I was a bit surprised to see a new lobby area with new faces. I have to say that Keith found my cars repair history (in the old system) and put it in the new system. The car was ready several hours earlier than I had asked for. When picking up the car, Keith and his wife were as friendly and helpful. My car was clean with great music that someone had ready! They even topped off the windshield washer fluid! The bill was placed in an envelope, along with an air freshener- nice! Although Keith is not Wilber, I found the entire experience VERY POSITIVE.

This shop used to be owned by Wilbur and he was the best and most honest mechanic in MOCO. Unfortunately for us (but good for him) he's now retired. The new owners are not near as responsive. I called last week to get an estimate for a service and it took them 3 hours to get back to me, even though he said he'd call back in 10 minutes. When they did, their rates were higher than the dealer!The shop was great in the past and deserved 5 stars, but that will probably not be the case moving forward.

SOOOOOO happy I brought my car here for a second opinion! I took my car to a different place about a month ago and was told I would need a huge list of things done and it was going to cost me almost $3000! I brought the list of things "that needed to be done immediately" and Mike took a look at everything and showed me what needed done VS what could wait and told me what really wasn't needed. As a new mom that much money right after Christmas was going to be a HUGE hit to us and we really couldn't afford that. He was so patient with me (and my screaming teething baby) and worked with me and explained everything to me. This was about 2 weeks ago and my car is like new! We have a plan to get everything done (that wasn't a top priority) and have worked through the list to make sure my car is safe. I will def be coming back and making this my go to place!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

Wilbur is wonderful to deal with. The crew is great here and genuinely knows older vehicles. I have had excellent results from them on a variety of marques, eras and jobs for myself and for clients. Fairly priced and trustworthy - thank you, will be back again!

I wish their mechanics were as good as receptionist. Car has been in the shop for months and they still can't figure out how to fix it.

No. My family had been going to Emerald City for decades. Loved Wilber, loved the dogs, loved the service.Wilber retired and now this shop SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS! I brought my Miata in for new rear breaks, and a couple of other minor fixes, after a full week they returned it (with an exorbitant bill) and the breaks did not work. By the time I had driven home from the shop MY NEW BREAKS WERE TOTALLY NON FUNCTIONAL and all the break fluid had come gushing out one of the rear calipers. After I returned it and asked them to fix the mistakes they obviously made the first time, they kept it for a second entire week and then, THEY CHARGED ME A SECOND TIME TO FIX THEIR WORK! Also they do not return phone calls, or call you when they say they will, they are totally disorganized, and the customer service is generally terrible.TLDR:It takes them forever to do bad work, and they charge you a second time to fix their own mistakes. Go somewhere (anywhere) else
