I am very happy with Body&Brain Yoga. Not only they integrate Yoga, Tai-Chi and ChiQong exercises, the workouts are also integrating body, mind, spirit at all levels. Body&Brain also offers workshops that will bring up our awareness and consciousness to our connections with our true Selves. A good friend of mine recommended this place to me, and I am so appreciative for this. I highly recommend Body&Brain for all because people can get all aspect of benefits (physical health, emotional condition and spiritual healing etc.) you’re looking for.Last but not least, the manager and instructor (Chun) at the North Potomac Center is so wonderful. She has many years of experiences and she is so bright and full of energy. You have to try the class yourself to find out the magic!

Always come out of class feeling centered and grounded and better prepared for the rest of the day. And Chun, the instructor, is one of the best people I've ever met who genuinely invests in you personally - coming from someone who is very picky about the character of instructors (for anything). Fantastic if you're looking for long-term personal growth, a mindfulness and self-development practice that does not judge your capabilities, but meets you where you're at to nurture your own potential. Real improvement is not quick and easy, but slowly over time that can't always be noticed in the moment. But one day, you'll look back and realize how far you've come from where you started.

I have really enjoyed Body and Brain in North Potomac. I've attended the Center and taken classes online. The Center is clean and inviting with enough space to move and stretch even with a full class. The Center instructor, Chun Myung, is truly amazing. She is attentive, provides great feedback. It is obvious she cares about her students and is always listening to help everyone get what each needs to achieve his or her goals, At least, that is my experience and the experience of others with whom I've spoken. The online classes are fantastic. Taking the online classes means that you get Chun Myung and have the opportunity to take classes from other networked instructors. Everyone I've had a class with, or a one-on-one session, has been just great! I get feedback even during the online class - they are definitely live and interactive! And of course, through classes and events you meet many nice and interesting people J Since taking classes at North Potomac Body and Brain I have lost weight, gotten rid of some back and hip and hand pain. I am also feeling more relaxed and less stressed. I am becoming noticeably more flexible at my own pace. Body and Brain North Potomac. A very delightful experience!

Potomac Body & Brain has really changed my life and my life focus path. For the most part of my life, I’ve been seeking something external to fulfill my loneliness and make me happy. I’ve began learning that the soul within is what I must reunite within to sustain life’s energy particles. You meet so many wonderful teachers, healers and hearts that care. I finally feel apart of something special that i can carry with me for the rest of journey.

I started at Body & Brain Yoga in Gaithersburg looking to lose some weight and relieve my stress 10 years ago. Ten years, I've lost 85 pounds without actually dieting, take 10 fewer prescriptions, and have a deep sense of inner peace that has gotten me through some heavy-duty challenges in my life. The instructors here are wonderful and so are the members. It is a real community of warm and supportive people and I cannot imagine life without it. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did!

The Body & Brain practice is my self-care program, and I love the classes at the Gaithersburg Center. Each instructor leads classes masterfully and provide a healing presence for all who attend. This is a great program, and a great place to practice for anyone who is looking to make mindfulness a way toward a healthy, happy, peaceful life.

Wow... best decision I have made for myself in a long time and thanks to my son and his significant other inviting me as their guest! I started classes about 4 months ago. I was looking for an low impact exercise class as I was recovering from a wrist injury and thought I would give Tai Chi a try. I started with only once a week and noticed a difference from just that! It turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. The classes and instructors are amazing. They were able to guide and help me manage my pain, stress and sleep schedule. It's truly been a transformation both mentally and physically. I never regret spending an hour in a class here because I always feel better after. If you are looking for the western ideas of "yoga" and running through a bunch of poses, this is not the place. The classes focus more on meditation and linking the mind and body.

I am so happy to have discovered Body&Brain Yoga (Dahn Yoga) in Gaithersburg. This program approach, based on East Asian philosophies, has helped my strength, endurance and peace of mind. I have lost lots of weight (in 4 mos.) am sleeping better and feeling better. Anyone, regardless of physical limitations can participate. I recommend you take a free class!
