Mostly, this place is a dive. The building is dirty and old. The staff is rude. But, I think they give you a pretty good price on silver. So, if you have at least 5 or 6 oz of silver, they might buy it from you. Also, they don't take jewelry (contrary to their website) and you have to have at least $100 worth of stuff. Oh yeah, their website is hopelessly out of date.

The man who answered my call could have been nicer, and shown some more professionalism. He did answer my questions, however his customer service was not pleasant.

Don't waste your time going...The level of service and customer experience has decreased 10x over the past few years. Yelp says they are open until 6pm M-F, Google says 5pm, I showed up at 4pm and they say they are closed for "inventory." A few months before that I showed up at around 415 and was made to feel like an inconvenience because they closed in 45 minutes. My general understanding is if you close at 5, your doors close at 5.. you don't conduct your closing activities during business hours to be out the door at 5 as an employee at the sake of customers showing up during your business hours. Even before that instance I once showed up during advertised hours and wasn't able to get any service, seemed like no one was there. This used to be a very well operated business that I referred folks to, I dont think I can give them anymore chances. ill be heading to Congressional Coin...Very unfortunate

They do what they're in business for and do it well.

Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. I shopped around the DMV area and they will give you the best price. They also sell pretty cheap. So I have found my long term stacking source.

The proprietor was friendly but the website needs upgraded. This place is just a bullion exchange. I brought in an ancient Roman coin. He tested it 90% sterling silver. He sent it to his grader thur a bank type air tube. Unlike what they posted on website they do not deal in Ancient coins. I also had a type 2 1981 proof set he said he had plenty and did not want to look at it. Wow I also had a full bell line Franklin half. And it was real he agreed full bell line but did not even want to deal with it. So unless your just trading weight save yourself and the proprietor the hassle of buzzing in walking up steps to office and dealing with coins this place just deals in spot price weight not rare coins be they silver or gold. I had a 1855 one dollar gold coin US. But after the other 3 let downs I gave up and didn't even show it to him. So like many coins shop who need to change their business name to.Bullion dealer only. This is not a coin shop. It's a bullion exchange only.

They are not open, but transact business. How is this possible, unless it's strictly online only. The staff on the phone act like you're wasting thier time.

Worst customer service experience of my life! Incredibly rude, disrespectful and passive aggressive. I went several times to sell a large amount of gold jewelry. The first time the person didn’t have time to buy it but gave me an estimate after I waited 20 minutes. Told me to come back that week & he’d buy it. Went back to store & was told computer was down and to cAll first next time. I called multiple times as instructed. 10 days later I came and waited 50 minutes while another customer was helped. That was fine. Finally I was waited on. As I sat there, 3 other customers came in and each was helped while I waited. By the third customer, I spoke up and said why was I being put last after waiting so long. The staff member told me to take my business elsewhere! It was unbelievable!Such offensive and disgusting behavior… I truly can’t find any excuse for it. Go elsewhere. Their prices might be good but I quickly went to a jewelry store and was treated fairly.Never again !!

Offer the same price as a pawn shop for gold… don’t be fooled … not too price … greater than 20% difference from spot price! To follow up!!! I went to coins of the realm now called Congressional Jewelers and got 10500 vs 8300 for the same gold… be smart and go to 1331 Rockville Pike… they are way more friendly and military/police friendly

Rude old guy with jeans and old t shirt kept talking on his walkie talkie (yes, a walkie talkie) never greeted me, just checked the coins I presented and that was it, no further explanation or any cust service skills and he got back to his walkie talkie, like an old discontinued robot. I felt I was in a bad low budget movie from the 80's. I give them 2 stars because the whole situation was absurd but funny.
