Take your money elsewhere and don’t shop here. I came in today with $10 Kohls Cash from my birthday and used it to buy a shirt. The cashier claimed she “didn’t know how to use kohls cash” and said she would give me 10% off instead. I said absolutely not, I have $10 here I am going to use it. Again, she said she didn’t know how to use it and couldn’t give it to me. My kohls cash expires 2/28, so it is still perfectly good but this woman just kept saying “I don’t know how to add it.” So I asked for a manager and she said there were none to help me. Yeah, I seriously doubt that. I come back home and use my $10 kohls cash online for store pickup for a different shirt. I get an email hours later saying the shirt was out of stock (never once mentioned that on the website, so I highly doubt it) and they returned me $7.99 kohls cash (price of shirt). I should get the entire $10 returned if it is “out of stock” supposedly instead of the exact shirt price. So, I go to contact them about the kohls cash online and it says “uh oh, we are experiencing technical difficulties. Try again later.” Really?? So I try using the chat function. It ALSO does not work! This is absolutely despicable behavior from a corporation. I will NEVER spend a penny here again after this horrid experience. My family and friends are all canceling their Kohls Charge Cards as well. Target has NEVER done anything of this sort to us. We are taking our business and all of our friends and family to Target from now on.

Terrible experience. Shopped here for decades, albeit infrequently. First time I've ever felt misled or worse, scammed, into signing up for their credit cards. I was assured by the sales associate that I could "opt-out of having to activate said card and that triggering the sign-up process just lets them tack on some discounts." Asked 3 times throughout the process about my concerns. Should I have asked 5+ times? Do Kohls staffers get kickbacks or incentives for signing customers and entrapping them into the Kohls system?

Shopping this store is nice. Employees don’t bother you and things are easy to find. However, when you check out is likely when you’ll have the worst experience in the store. The front desk will hound you to sign up for a card.
The staff member that checked me out, told me three different times to sign up for the card to receive a discount. Each time I told her I wasn’t interested. She then entered a discount code into the system and showed me what I could be saving. Once again, I told her I wasn’t interested. She removed the discount. She then showed me the bottom of my receipt and told me to leave a review for her. I said no problem. I’ll do it when I get home. She said no you can do it now. She then guide me on how to get to the website. I pull up the website and she tells me to bring my phone down so she can see what I’m typing. I told her I’m going to leave her a negative review and then she said never mind, you don’t need to leave a receipt.

5-Star for the checkout lady Homeira because she greeted me with a smile, explained credit card option, and tried to find ways to save money for me.
3Star because I came for Amazon return from the back door. It took me awhile to find the customer service and then cashier. I once thought I went in an AI generated store. No one around for help and too many other signs yet confusing.
However this experience especially saving opportunity made me consider to come in to retail store once in a while than online shopping most of the time.

I recently purchased an item from this store with a discount. The next day, I went back to exchange it for the same item in a different color, only to be told that I would need to pay the full, non-discounted price for the exchange. This experience was extremely frustrating. If this is indeed the store's policy, I find it unreasonable and unfair to customers. If I have to pay more just to get the same item in a different color, I would rather take my business elsewhere. I hope the store reconsiders this policy, as I won't be returning if this is how exchanges are handled.

Kohls sends far too many emails advertising the same sales over and over again and there is no way to reduce the number of emails they send without opting out altogether.

I had a 15% off coupon and the lady at the cashier was rude to me saying that I can not use that coupon. I never had that kind of experience.

Sathya (?) And Rani were harassing my underage girls to get the kohls card. They told them many times they did not want the card, but still these two team members harassed the girls and gave them attitudes. Sathya got one of the girls to go through the process until the birth date was to be inputed and finally relented when she finally understood these girls were 15. Then they harassed them into the survey, wouldn't them leave until they did something.
These girls were intimidated by them and were afraid to stand up for themselves, as most 15 year olds.
Really disappointed in this Kohls and will take our business to another kohls.
Stop harassing your customers.
This review will also be copied for Rani's for my other girl.
Dawn in Sephora however was a gem to the girls, but that will not raise our review.
