The crispy pork belly and Sisig are a must try for first timers! Try the famous Filipino Lumpia too and you won't be disappointed. Food was excellent. Hopefully they can improve on their serving portion and pricing to entice more non-Filipinos to come in and try their dishes.

We really love their food. especially the dinuguan. Other favorites are menudo, pork sisig and bbq We are from Western Pennsylvania and we always order from Matthew's catering menu for holiday gatherings and special events. We travel 2 and a half hours just to pick up the food. We also make sure to stop and dine-in so we can order the binukadkad na tilapia and kare kare. The price is also very reasonable.

The food is really good especially my favorite Kare-kare. If you're tired, eating sandwiches for lunch around Gaithersburg and would like to eat some rice, go to Matthew's lot of food to choose from, and they have desserts too yum!

We ordered Caldereta, which is tomato based beef stew with potatoes and carrots, Pancit bihon, rice vermicelli, and Lumpia pork egg rolls. It’s true authentic and delicious Filipino food! Very fulfilling generous portion too. Owned by a family and the owner seemed very passionate about their food and making sure we enjoy their food. Want to go back again soon and order their chicken wings and pork belly next time. We are excited to try all of their menus.Vegetarian options: You can ask for no meat for pancit bihon and they are very accomodatingDietary restrictions: You can ask for no meat for pancit bihon and they are very accomodatingKid-friendliness: Large spacious easy parking

It was my first time here. I have yet to try the halo halo but the pictures make it look very tasty. I had the pork sigsig. The taste of the sizzling pork was delicious. You can taste the onions, the seasoning, and the hot peppers. The egg in the middle is a good touch, as it is still cooking in the sizzling skillet and the runny egg made the bits of the pork stick together. Adding it with the rice was very filling. I would come back and try different things on the menu.

It’s our first time to eat here and we arrived on Saturday around 1pm. We were told by a man who might be the owner to sit down on a table and they’ll take our orders. We waited for about 15-20 minutes and nobody came to take our order so I decided to just approach the same guy who told us to sit down and gave him our order. The sisig pork was good but we found a few plastic strips which we shown the female server. She didn’t do anything. The noodle -pancit we ordered arrived towards the end of our meal which is why I didn’t had the chance to include it our first photo. They also charged extra fee for paying with a credit card. I don’t think I will be on a hurry to come back.

As always, this place hit the spot! Service was outstanding. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Hubby and I tried the street food- lumpiang Shanghai, 2 types of bola bola (fish and squid balls) and a yummy sauce similar to but not exactly like sweet chili sauce. Reminiscent of the bola bola sauce street vendors provide for dipping back home. He also got the 6 pcs appetizer of the lumpia. I had gulaman drink and hubby had his favorite mango juice. For our main course we ordered Kare Kare with rice on the side. This is one of my favorites, it's beef (usually with oxtail) stew with peanut sauce. Thickener is the roasted rice powder in the sauce. Super tasty, full of flavor and mixed with the rice, just perfect! It is served with fermented sautéed shrimp paste. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper, plus their portion is generous and we ended up taking home half of the Kare Kare and a few bola bola. Line up folks! This place is open for dine in only Fridays through Sunday. So worth it.
