took my car in for failing clutch diagnosis. I explained the issue with the car and what I've attempted to do to fix it with another mechanic with no luck. TransTech decided to attempt the same fix we already did, charged me $300+ and sent me on my way.( I trusted they did something differently that would work)
An hour later I was being towed from the middle of the highway for another $200. I called trans tech, he mentioned " I was worried about that" and said I can have the car towed to their shop and leave it outside since they are already leaving for the weekend. This was around 2pm on a Friday and TransTech's google profile says they close at 5pm, I was not leaving my car over the weekend to sit at a random lot where anything can happen. During the time they had my car they did not once stay until near 5pm. (regardless of all this I did not once get frustrated with TransTech or give them a hard time. I was always calm just looking for how we could resolve the issue with the car.)
During that last phone call, I also asked that if I do a full clutch replacement can the price be brought down a bit since I paid $300+ and the issue wasn't resolved. I was told yes, no problem. And that's the last I heard from them. I now have all the parts needed, have been calling trans tech multiple times a day for 3 days to schedule and have not been answered or called back even once.. How ridiculous is it that an "Open & Operating " business cannot answer the phone or get back to you for not 1 but multiple days? I think it's because I've only ever seen 1 person working there. I only kept trying because they owe me some credit for the failed fix. At this point I would rather spend more anywhere else. Had they simply answered at any time, I wouldn't have bothered writing this review.

They have done a amazing job on my wife vehicle. They are very honest , and straight forward. They work on any or every issue, not just on transmission. After 5 years going to same mechanic, Trans Tech became my go to shop, the FACT they have the skills and knowledge.
I took my wife vehicle expression I needed to replace transmission. Ron, very nice guy, said my transmission was not the issue. Squirrels chewed my battery cable among others wires, was able to trace and repaired. Also found out there was sugar in my fuel pump injector. They were able to clean it up and replaced. Now the vehicle runs better and smoother than had been for 2 years.

Took my coast clutch drum to them and they knew exactly what was the issue right away , great gentleman helped me out immensely and helped me get my F350 back up and running asap! Will be back if I ever need more work done. A+A+

I have never given a review to anything ever, but I had to on this experience. I went in to ask if he can provide an estimate. My transmission is blown. What floored me was he asked what kind of transmission was on my truck like as in brand or model..wt! I don't know if anyone would know that of their vehicle..what kind of question is that! I said I don't know..look it up with a vin number. It was the most rude and insulting encounter I ever had. It was like I was interrupting or something. Every other business took their time and gave me an estimate. He came highly recommended. It's a shame he treats customers that way. There was more to the conversation let's leave it at that.

Awful that do business with. Beware you can drive the car there but you may have to take it out on the several trucks out because all you will have is parts and unworkable vehicle. He will not let you know ahead of working on you vehicles if your car will be damaged. And prices he quoted was much hire than dealership price on the same parts. My son drove in his car to this mechanic by the recommendation of the very reputable mechanic because it required further transmission diagnostic. After the diagnosis that took 3 months his ca had to be taken out in pieces by 2 towing tracks. Not longer able to drive. Mechanic's excuses: can't find parts to fix. My son been asking for a list of parts for 3 months so he can find the parts himself and have the mechanic fixed the car. But we pushed him to take the vehicle out of the shop. Three months???? Please beware of this shop. He said he did not know if he would damage the vehicle while in the diagnostics stage???? I wish we knew.....

The owner “Ron” is the only mechanic I will let work on my car. He is honest, professional, very knowledgeable, accommodating and tells it like it is-very straight forward-which means a lot in this day. I had a good experience here and I will be using them in the future, and also recommending them to friends. The owner is very responsive, knowledgeable and experienced. He has been doing transmissions a long time and I don't think there is a thing that would surprise him. I bought an older Chevy van that needed a rebuilt transmission, Ron and his team took care of me. They went above and beyond really because I needed some other work done to it that did not involve the transmission which they took care of as well, despite being very busy. The poor review someone wrote for this business surprises me because I don't see that happening here, not with the way Ron runs things. My warranty on the work is excellent, and it is running great with 1k miles since the work was completed.

I took my car to Trans Tech this morning as I was told I had a slow transmission leak. Ron was wonderful he not only showed me what was happening but he explained it very clearly as well. It was a great experience I felt my car was in great hands as Ron is so very knowledgeable as well as very honest. Their transmission shop is also very organized and a very pleasant environment. Check my car to another shop thinking that maybe the catalytic converter was going bad. That mechanic told me I had a bad transmission which is why I ended up at trans tech. He diagnosed the vehicle and tell me it was definitely the catalytic converter and the transmission was fine. I want ahead and let him put the catalytic converter in and do a transmission service since we both agreed that it had a little bit of a leak and probably has not been serviced since day one.When I got the car back O my God it was a different animal in drove so much better. Highly recommend these guys they did a phenomenal job
