I would give this no star if I could. The staff there was rush and I felt like I was being rush. The sales person was like telling that I was taking an awfully long Time to make a decision. No patience at all. VERy RUDE.

If I could leave 0stars I would, I call asking for help in regards to asking for helping redeeming an Amazon giftcard from acquiring their internet service. Person who answers the phone proceeds to be condescending telling to call customer service, like I am somehow supposed to know that straight away. I’m calling the store because that’s where I acquired the service, so I assume they would be helpful enough to help out. Train your employees on how to talk to people.

I went to the Verizon store in Gaithersburg MD today,when I came in the store I could see that all of your sales associates were busy working with other customers so I waited and waited, and I sawed Robert the Manager go to the back office with another sales associate and start arguing , so I went to knock on the door because I had to go back to work,then he came out very upset and told to never again knock on the door in front of other customers, I never go back to that store, again, this Manager should control his temper, and I’m thinking of changing Companies, because terrible service .

Went in to replace a damaged phone and was given a run around as the contact in store said my son was not an account manager. Checked with my wife who is the account owner and "surprise surpise" he was in fact listed as one of 3 account managers on the account. Now we have been sitting 30 mins for someone to sell my son a new phone...and still waiting. Not impressed.

Sales rep Kevin is amazing!!! He was kind and patient while we worked through my business account. I've been trying to work through my issues for months and Kevin was able to complete them in 45minutes! Thanks for your help

After calling Verizon to cancel my fios service they confirmed any location can take the router back. I arrived at this location and they refused to take it back. I called Verizon and they stated they should take it. After having the verizon employee on the phone tell the store employee that they still refused to take the router. Do not come here.

TOTAL FAIL. Placed order for delivery of router and TV boxes. Made appointment for in-home tech support. 1. Technician failed to show for appointment today. 2. Customer service found no appointment when I called, although I made the appointment with a live tech support person. 3. After multiple calls,spoke with Tyesha. All talk, and no real action. Did not help with today's appointment. Failed to call back at time she said she would call back to see if issue was resolved. Offered a small discount on a $99 tech support appointment. Original appointment made was free of charge. Wasted my time mouthing platitudes. Sent me back to tech support, which did nothing. 4. Called customer support back. Lisa also could not help with appointment, and was unable to provide me with the location of a UPS store for the return of the new equipment after telling me that not all locations will take Verizon equipment boxes. Huh? 5. Received random texts from Verizon all day referencing an upcoming Monday appointment that did not exist, although I repeatedly kept replying that I had not made this appointment. 6. Re-packaged equipment and sent back via nearby UPS, which gladly accepted the package. Yay, UPS! Sent Verizon picture of UPS label to make random texts about non-existent appointment stop. 7. Complete WASTE OF EIGHT HOURS dealing with this. Reallly no point in contacting Verizon, waiting half an hour or making any appointments. 8. BASICALLY--MY TAKE AWAY IS USE ANY OTHER COMPANY EXCEPT VERIZON!!! There is no real way to reach them on the phone. They will not help. They only want your money, and the service is truly inferior.

40 minutes after opening time and they were still not open. Someone was in the back of the store. They did not respond to a knock on the door. Many people came and left. I went to the Germantown store, where at least one of the other people who is trying to get into the Gaithersburg store, also showed up. How rude can you possibly be?

Ready process to order 3 new cable boxes online for the theater. Difficulty was finding the store to pick them up. The Gaithersburg store moved and is being remodeled.

I recently had to buy a new phone, as my existing phone no longer supported my hearing aids. I explained all this to the salesperson. She insisted that a motorola phone was what I needed. Also, that once I opened the box for the phone, there was a $50 dollar charge to re stock. I did open the box, I made it clear, I wasn't leaving until all the info etc from my old ph had been installed on my new phone- and that I was headed out of town for business the next day. Also, I tried to pair my hearing aids to the new phone, in the presence of the salesperson, and they would not work, The salesperson knew that the new phone was not compatible , before I left the store . The store manager made an issue out of my wanting to buy a less expensive case from ( best buy etc..) this after I told him of my specific needs, he never asked if I was getting the phone I needed, just kept on about my wanting to save money. That eve, I confirmed that my new ph. would not work with my hearing aids, and tried to call the store( during normal hours) and there was no answer- just a voice menu that kept connecting me to the store, but no one answered. The following week, was able get assistance from the Verizon Corp office, over the phone, the agent told me that the salesperson, should not have let me leave the store, knowing that the ph did not work with my hearing aids, also they waived the $50 return fee, send me a shipping label to return the new phone and expedited a new samsung phone which does work with my hearing aids, I will never shop at this Verizon store again, if you go there- make sure you get what you need,

Ruben helped me with a new phone and switching my old phone to my husband's number. Very helpful and informative and showed me how to save money by combining services and paying on line. This was during COVID and all precautions were taken. Just went back to get a new line and phone and was helped by another helpful gentleman - so sorry, i forgot you name....

This is the second time this year that I was sold the wrong item by an employee at this store. In February 2020, I was sold the incorrect charger for an Apple iPad. I took the iPad to the store to be sure I received the correct charger. Today, September 17, 2020, I was sold an incorrect charger for my new iPhone. The charger cord has the wrong adapter piece for my iPhone. It will not fit into the charger opening. It is frustrating and annoying to have to return to the store to exchange the charger since I don't live nearby that Verizon Store. The staff need better training. They also need to pay more attention to detail. Maybe they should hang up pictures that describe what chargers are compatible with what iPhone.

My mom went to pay her bill and received horrible service from the location. She asked several times for help and she was just directed to the machine to pay, she doesn't speak English and didn't understand how to use it and nobody took the time to help her. She mentioned employees just walking around the store not busy with customers yet again no one helped her until she called my dad and complained to him loudly that someone went up to her to offer help. Now, I understand this job is all about sales but you can't take the customer service out of your job duties because you never know when a customer paying a bill can turn into a sale. We get horrible service every time we show up with a question or anything that's not related to a sale. Please re-train your employees because you will lose customers in the future, no one likes bad service. People remember good customer service but never forget bad customer service.

Covid review: This location requires a mask and they did not let me in, someone came outside and asked me what I needed help with. When I told them to open another line? I was able to come in. (I am assuming they are only letting people in by a case by case situation. Anyways, I was greeted by everyone and James was my main guy to help me! Then I had Ruben that assisted as well and thennnnnn the manager Carlton too that helped out!! James was extremely informative on getting my 10years olds phone setup. I wanted a nice phone number for her and James recommended the best one that was easy for me to remember. Ruben helped me with my plan options and the told me how much everything was going to be! I just wanted to say this stores level of customer service was beyond good! It was excellent!!! This is the reason why I switched from Sprint to Verizon! Thank you!
