Steve and Dawn are both amazing. God placed them in the perfect profession. They are both diligent, accommodating, compassionate and professional at all times. Steve always knows just when to throw in a little humor to lighten your heavy heart. Dawn is just a true sweetheart. They made the hardest days of my life bare able. God Bless them both.

Steve and Dawn were amazing---from the original planning with my Mom to the day of funeral, My Daughter put it very well they put on a heck of a funeral. Everything was so personal and just beautiful. Uncle Reg would have been pleased.

Steve and Dawn are absolutely amazing when it comes time to deal with one of the worst days of your life. I've been to a number of services handled by Galena Funeral Home and have always come away with a sense of calm. Recently, we had to deal with the loss of my father. Even though I've been to services before, I was totally unprepared for what to do. Upon receiving the news of my father's passing, I immediately called Steve. Even at 5:30 in the morning, Steve was as caring and professional as you could hope for. From day one, Steve and Dawn directed and helped us along every step of the way. Our requests were a little different than many services, but they handled everything with ease, and that put us at ease. Whatever request you have, traditional burial, cremation, military honors, fire service, they can handle it. At the end of the day, it feels like a weight has been lifted off our families shoulders. With their help, a bad day turned into a good day.
