Horrible communication with customers. Workman ship was done well but lied to by our assigned project manager that he would be keeping us informed of our project. Stay away!

Have someone in the paint store that knows about paint! Knowledge! Reminds me when I used to work at Giant Food trying to put a bagger to be a cashier!

I finally bought myself a Traeger pellet grill today . I was very happy to get it here . The store was nice , clean and good customer service as always at H-D . I liked that I had a couple different stops to make and everything I needed was right here in this shopping center. Time to go build this grill and get cookin !

Stopping at the store quickly made me realize why I typically shop at the store in Frederick. The employees are rude, I have no idea what they're selling and always act like they're busy when you try to ask them for help. I went to the tool department to ask a guy where the taps were and he had no idea what they were. Maybe I'm crazy but I would expect the guy working in the tool department would know what they had. When I went to a register to ask for help, the rude girl at the register said "I'm busy you have to find someone". That was after searching 20 minutes for someone to help.

Curbside pick up was great . I placed my order it did take a few days more than stated but once it was ready I pulled in , called the number and gave my spot and 5 minutes later my order was placed in my car . I'm getting placing my next order now . Also , the staff was great!

Curbside delivery is a mess. No one answers the phone and the staff working are understaffed. Only by talking to someone was any progress initiated, but with the same endless wait. After trying to get the items that we were told were ready for pickup we are considering leaving and canceling the order after waiting over an hour. There are at least 15 customers in the same situation as us and many more have left and said forget it, I don't need it.I understand the difficulty faced by stores with the covid situation, but don't put your employees in a guaranteed fail situation. Either do the process well or don't do it at all

I popped in HD yesterday to grab items for different projects (gardening, hanging wall art and another DIY project). I normally don't go to hardware stores and would have likely gotten all the items I needed from a combination of a grocery store, Target and Michaels craft store to get all of the materials I needed, but given COVID-19, that wasn't an option. I decided to try my hand at HD despite its overwhelming size and my (perceived) lack of ability to navigate it well to find what I needed. Upon entering, a gentleman (Lawrence) at the door asked me if I need help. I decided to take him up on the offer and he accompanied me throughout the store to find all items. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful overall. Super thankful for Lawrence (pretty sure I remember his name correctly... I hope, bc he was wonderful and I would love for him to be recognized for his customer-centric style/attitude!) bc he eased my anxiety with pleasant conversation as we navigated the store for the items I needed. One of the items I needed was pvc pipe cut down to size. That's where Barrington stepped in to help. Super helpful, patient and kind also. Without these gentleman and their kindness, I would likely have left crying and overwhelmed. Instead, I'll be back for more items and will shop their with more confidence. Actually headed back now with my 6yo for a few more items and can't wait to shop at HD for future projects as well! :) Kudos to the staff at Home Depot Germantown! Keep hiring amazing staff! Ps my cashier was NOT kind/compassionate or patient. She was actually rude and could have soured the whole experience, but she luckily didn't cancel out their kindness. At a time when there is so much loss and uncertainty, those working (just the same as those shopping!) have the opportunity to be kind to those around them. Little rays of sunshine like simple acts of kindness can dim the gloom of this horrific global epidemic. Just wanted to share!

Save yourself the trouble and just go to the Gaithersburg store, the few extra minutes to drive there is well worth it. Terrible customer service here. Twice now I have left this location in frustration and gone to the one in Gaithersburg and the difference in customer service is like night and day. I'm officially done with this place! Smh.

I am so frustrated no matter what day , why is it that they do not cross train their people from the customer service to the pro desk. All Home Depot in general . CROSS TRAIN THE PEOPLE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE , specially the PM crew they are the ones that take care of the commercial pro accounts at night time when the desk is close .

I just want to say that STEVE was AMAZING! well I think his name is Steve it was on his apron lol. It was the older gentleman that was in the kitchen appliances area. My mother and I were looking for a new fridge and let me just say that Steve was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us through the entire process, told us about different brands, and gave his input on what he thinks is best based on our ideal criteria of what refrigerator we most wanted. He also pulled up other customers reviews on different types of fridges that he thinks best suits us. We had a great experience with him and hope to be helped by him again in the future! PLEASE let Steve know that we want to thank him for his wonderful services on 1/13/20. -From the young Asian woman and her mother

It's has been almost a year that I do shopping at Home Depot in Germantown. In Pro Xtra department, Cesar helps me regarding ordering the materials and finding reasonable prices for appliance and other required materials for renovation. He is very patient and professional. Also, he is very knowledge of his job. He will advice you in finding the right items and materials. I drove almost one hour every time to have him do my online shopping or special order. He is very reliable. I absolutely recommend him to anyone who does massive shopping in Home Depot.
