Finally after transferring prescriptions to over 10 pharmacies I found one that is meeting my expectations. Unfortunately many pharmacies I have used don't answer the phone, they have long lines, they no longer use the drive thru, they lose my prescriptions or they don't fill them until I call or arrive only to learn my RX hasn't even been started to fill. This safeway pharmacy not only answers the phone, doesn't have long lines, hasn't lost my prescriptions, fills my prescriptions shortly after receiving them, but they also have great hours that they are open. Thank you Safeway in Germantown MD for helping me not stress over getting my medicine. You have restored my faith in what a pharmacy should be able to do.

Blatantly ignored as I stood there staring at them for about five minutes. No response until I spoke up and confronted the pharmacist about it. I believe the poor service I received was racially motivated.

Today 8/23/23: went to Safeway pharmacy to pick up a prescription. The guy was very slow and i mean VERY slow! I waited 20 minutes for my turn and nobody was in line besides a lady in front of me. My turn comes and even though my prescription is ready, it takes this guy another 15 minutes to give it to me! I asked him if it was not ready and he said that it was ready but he kept going in the back... coming back.... leaving again... no explanation! Just horrible service!

Was bad enough. They didn't have any shopping carts for about a year and now that they do have them another thing that never changes their customer service. It is horrible and their prices are terrible too.

Only one person was working out front at the deli counter. There was a customer with a really long order and after finishing taking it he continued to just chat with him instead of helping other customers. He even looked over at me more than once saw I had been waiting a while and went back to his conversation which would have been cool if there were other people out there to help

Black checker refuses to serve OWW (old white woman) who asked the checker to scan the items with the handheld scanner instead of touching them. Old white woman is in cancer treatment and cares for a 91 year old veteran and tries very hard not to bring germs into her home or the home of the very old veteran. The checker would not listen to why the request was made, she immediately turns her back and calls for a checker to check the OWW out. The OWW was asked to move to a different checker’s aisle. She said she wasn’t going anywhere and the new checker accommodated the OWW, repeatedly apologizing for the behavior of the other checker. The other checker was long gone. The manager was called to hear the OWW’s complaint, who asked the manager what she thought would happen if the tables were turned and it was the OWW refusing to serve the black woman. The manager said she thought the white woman would feel the same as the black woman felt. The OWW asked what that was; “that the customer was being a racist”. The OWW was called a racist by the WHITE woman manager. The OWW has avoided Safeway, because it is NOT safe. During the same visit the OWW’s cart was shoved into her while her back was turned by a black woman who didn’t want to wait, or walk around or didn’t know how to say excuse me. The emotionally ill equipped should NOT be in customer service positions unless they are emotionally mature enough to handle their jobs. The black woman checker clearly was not emotionally fit for duty. The OWW was disrespected and in tears by the time the manager showed up. At this point she was further insulted. At 71 years old the OWW utilized curse words to reflect her frustration and outrage over. The OWW will repeat her experience to her wide circle of friends. BTW the OWW attends a African-American church, councils women of all skin tones, and absolutely is not racist.

I've officially called 12 times on 1.14.23 and nobody has answered! This is nuts! I started at 9am and randomly called throughout the day. Germantown location sucks!!

Employees dont care about you at all! They are absolutely rude and carless. A simple routine prescription refill can take 2 days! I never go there again.

Only self check out lanes open. I have too many groceries to use the small check out lanes. No one is concerned that there are no lanes.

I never leave reviews but I had to after today. These people don't care about their customers. Took me 30 mins to check out with 4 items today because they didn't want to help me when an item didn't ring up properly. They sent me in circles and then treated me like a thief when I asked them to honor their promo. I had multiple people take my phone and change the settings to make sure I wasn't lying and scamming them out of $3.50. When I explained it shouldn't take more then 20+ mins to check out and wanted to put in a complaint, they then started pointing the finger at the other associates and literally told me "I should know better" than asking them to honor their promo and somehow became my fault

This is the best pharmacy I have ever used. Very efficient, well versed on how to help Medicare recipients save money on prescriptions, & everyone has great customer service skills.

First of all the bathrooms are always disgusting And to call there is unbelievable No one answers and when they do you get transferred to different people
