Just left there after trying to make a deposit. There are at least 6 people in that building and only one of them has the ability to be a teller, apparently. There is a long line of people trying to do various transactions, one teller and 3 people all stood behind him. Now let's say he's new and needs someone to supervise, ok that accounts for one of the people, but what are the other 2 doing while we all stand in line for 20 minutes until I'd had enough and left? Avoid this branch at all costs

They have no ATM for losers with no car. You’re force to go all the way inside for any type of quick transaction ??

Very long lines, especially on the 1st and 15th of each month. With the knowledge these days are paydays and thus busy days... there should be more than 2 tellers available, especially when the line extends out the door.

I've been a customer with WF for almost 8 years, and they were the very first bank I ever held an account in. Unfortunately, I may have to rethink my banking future after my horrible experience at this particular location. My family recently had to quarantine due to positive Covid tests, and as such, I unfortunately lost out on a lot of money from paychecks. A relative of mine was kind enough to write me a check (from another bank) that I could cash and use for groceries, and baby needs.I was told by the witch at the counter that they cannot cash my check because I did not have the amount the check was written for in my account. This is incredibly ridiculous, especially during a literal pandemic?? Everyone is struggling, and I - like many others - have lost out on paychecks due to Covid. I have cashed checks MULTIPLE times with WF, and I have NEVER been told that was a stipulation for cashing them. I've cashed checks before with no money to my name. Imagine telling a struggling young Mother that she can't have the money her family gave her in the midst of a pandemic. What a joke.I was incredibly distraught and tried talking to WF customer service on the phone, outside, but I ended up breaking down in tears from the stress of everything. After customer service escalated my issue as high as it would go, they unfortunately told me that nothing can be done, today.I ended up going to the Capital One across the street where I forgot I had an account, and the lovely teller was able to cash my check - even though I didn't have "the same amount of money" in my account - and was overall much more pleasant to deal with. It's unfortunate I didn't get the WF teller's name, because this issue is definitely going to be escalated to corporate.

I have been banking with Wells Fargo and its predecessors Wachovia, First Union since 1983. I have a business and personal account there. Previously I have had mortgages, boat loans and investment accounts with them as well. I owned 10% of a start up company that paid my company a management fee. The checks were deposited in the ATM and never had an issue with them clearing the next day. I received a check every 2 weeks ranging from $4,000 to $6,500 for 14 months. The company bought my shares and wrote me 2 checks, one to my company for $4,000 and one to me personally for $10,000. both were drawn on the same bank. I deposited both checks at the ATM on May 31. I did not receive a hold notice when I made the deposit. The business check was available the next day. The personal check was not. When I went to the branch to find out why, I was told there was an 11 day hold placed on the check due to Fraud, from the makers bank. I called the maker, who gave me the name and phone number of the portfolio manager and the other bank. I found out not only did they not delay processing the check, but in fact it was paid. I went back to the branch on Monday June 4th when the check still had not cleared. I gave the maker bank contact information and was told the manager had to make 2 calls in order to release the funds. Several hours later I went back to the branch to find out the calls had not been made. 10 minutes after leaving the branch the manager called me to inform me he could not remove the hold because the fraud department placed the hold due to several factors, the notation saying for purchase of shares, the banks address was not that on file, and the check was made out to an individual and it appears it should have been made payable to a company. I then called the customer service, and got the run around and was told the maker bank placed the hold. I could not get satisfaction and appears Wells Fargo will be holding the funds even though the check ahs cleared. I will be moving all of my accounts as 35 years and I have no relationship with this Bank. Don't be fooled by the Reinvented campaign. This is the same greedy bank it always was.

Wells Fargo is by far the most amazing bank I have banked with . They have really great customer service, this location in specific has a lot of Spanish speaker so that's always a plus for my mom , but overall in mostly all the locations they have someone to help her out and myself . The parking in this location is tight though , it can be hard to find parking if your in a rush . I like how they have two ATM drive thur. It's very convenient when you are in a rush and there's no parking . Overall they are a pretty good bank

This bank/branch enticed me to open an account presenting the '250 checking offer' as advertised on their website and now denies fulfilling their promise. I am very disappointed with them as I always considered Wells Fargo as one of the best banks out there. This is very wrong and unethical on their part.

I recently had a horrendous experience at Wells Fargo's Germantown branch - 19708 Germantown Road. As I approached the teller to make a business deposit, the branch manager cut me off. Aggressively asking my name and lectured me as because I had too many deposits. My request to deposit was met with a rude assertion that this Wells Fargo does not accept business deposits. Given that I have never had an issue with another Wells Fargo, I inquired why not, but was not given a clear answer. At this point I was frustrated with and disappointed in the terrible customer service the teller was providing me with and asked to speak with a manager. She brusquely said, "I am the branch manager," and as I tried to understand why my deposit could not be accepted, Trinh Haye, snapped at me that she would accept my deposit "just this once." I left the bank extremely angry, especially because I still cannot understand why my wanting to make a deposit at this location was such an inconvenience for an employee who claimed to be "branch manager." If this Trinh Haye is in fact the branch manager, I feel it is important that her higher ups be made aware of her terrible customer service and excessively rude attitude. I am in the customer service industry, and I am appalled to find out that Wells Fargo allows someone who would go out of her way to be disrespectful to a customer to manage one of their branches. At the very least, I will never return to this Wells Fargo location and I am also considering taking my business elsewhere. I highly recommend that someone in the corporate office takes the time to fix the negative environment and poor management of the Germantown branch.

I am not a big fan of Wells Fargo as a corporation. But, this is one a the better bank locations/branches I have done business with in recent years. They show real appreciation for customers and provide fast service.

I have updated this review - they are great at the Germantown branch. I have kepm my comments below from a review I did a few years ago when I had given them a 4. They are worthy of the 5. Great people. ______________________________ This is not a review of the corporate side of Wells Fargo. This is just a review of Germantown Road branch. The people here are really nice. They go overboard with customer service. I actually enjoy going in an seeing the people. It is truly refreshing. There is one issue. I have several accounts and my deposits sometimes go in the wrong one. (They go into my account, just the wrong "sub-account".) I don't understand how/why this happens and it really surprises me, but the people are very nice and work hard to correct the mistakes, and I give them a lot of credit for that.
