I spoke with a woman named Cheryl and she helped ease my mind by answering every question I had before I could even ask! Her expertise and friendly demeanor made my decision making process painless. If you need someone to contact, ask for Cheryl. She is absolutely amazing!

I’ve been renting a ground unit from this location since May. At $317 a month, it’s totally not worth it. Here’s why. I got the unit online under exigent circumstances. Once I got my lock key I went to the unit. The first thing I noticed was the door sweep was damaged on both sides. No big deal right? Then there was a hole in the ground which provided access for rodents to come through. Again, no big deal. I used a 20 pound weight to cover the hole. As for the door sweep, I informed the property manager and she put in a maintenance request. I was told that the door sweep was to be ordered and it shouldn’t take long. About a month goes by and I am growing tired of purchasing glue traps, moth balls and moisture packs so I mention it again. Another maintenance request was made. I call the toll free number to public storage and was told maintenance would be there next day. I took off work and sat at the unit for the entire day and maintenance never showed up. The property manager told me to leave my unit key in the office so that when maintenance comes they would have access to my unit. While hesitant, I did that. Three days go by and I needed to put more stuff in my unit so I stopped by the office to pick up the key and went to my unit. Guess what? Still no maintenance. I was met with glue traps full of field mice, spiders, ants, roaches, and a dead bird. I discarded the traps. Moved nearly everything out of the unit, swept and dusted because spiderwebs were everywhere. Check the cameras if you don’t believe me, you’ll see me putting things in the trash and going in and out of my unit for at least 7 hours. I took a lunch break around the 4th hour. Sat in the parking lot in an orange chair by my unit. Once everything was cleaned to my liking, I sat out more glue traps and sprinkled fresh peppermint leaves around it and left. I traveled to 6 states in a 30 day period and recently returned to traps with, field mice, dead birds, spiders, ants roaches and moisture in the air. I didn’t even know that house roaches still existed. Hadn’t seen one since 2010. The door sweep still hadn’t been repaired. I was greeted by the property manager, she expressed how it had been a long time since she had seen me. On that day I called the toll free number to public storage and expressed my frustrations. I was offered an empty apology and a promise that the district manager would call me by end of business day. I explained that a refund and a credit needs to be given because my things were being damaged. I asked who was supposed to pick up the traps with dead remains because I am not. The representative told me that they would look into refund options and asked if I wanted to transfer units. Who in the hell! Public Storage wants me to pack up my things and move them to another unit by myself. Surely they don’t provide movers. When I was willing to do that in July, there was no other ground unit available. I have grown tired of voicing my complaints to Ms. Cheryl and the other staff at this location. This is clearly a maintenance issue and the lack of response reflects poorly on the district managers end and not the property manager. I warned the customer service representative that I had been as patient as I’m willing to be. My next step would be to do a review with photos. That’s the quickest way to get a response. I even asked for an email to the district managers and it’s as if they’re apart of witness protection. No information could be given. I did not want to leave a review that would paint the staff in a negative light. They are all good to me. Many times I’ve had to visit the location after business hours and was accommodated. My stuff is damaged and I want to know who is going to clean repair or replace it. Mice feces and urine and god knows what else!!!!

Cheryl is the absolute best at making sure you get the type unit you need and has helped me with every issue that pops up!!!
I honestly almost did leave to go to another rental up the road but Cheryl was so quick and professional to fix what the corporate line had messed up when renting me the unit. Not only did I want my unit, but by the time I left on the day I moved in, I was extremely happy that i had picked this spot!!
I have never had a storage unit in a place that really seemed to care about it's customers so much!!!

I am absolutely outraged by the way Public Storage has been robbing me blind! When I first signed up, my rate was under $100—now I'm getting charged over $300! This is highway robbery!
I have my account set to autopay, and it's unbelievable how you’re taking advantage of my leasing agreement like this. I didn't sign up for this kind of scandalous increase!
This situation is unacceptable, and I demand an explanation! I refuse to be taken for granted as a customer. I recommend nobody rent anything from here unless you’re only staying a few weeks.
