Apple picking was very fun and a nice date night activity! GLOWS: -GPS brings you right to location. Plenty or parking and easy to find -Information on varieties of apples was helpful in knowing what kind of apples to pick. -The bag seems small, but a great amount of apples can fit inside. -There are a lot of crazy looking apples to pick through, but we found enough good ones to fill our bag Beware of bugs! GROWS: -Opening hours change often, so it makes it hard to plan a visit in advance

Highly recommended! Very nice people, a lot of apples to pick from. Great for people, families and kids! My girls loved it and want to come back again! We plan on coming back next summer for more fruit picking!

I had a very bad experience here, getting yelled at by a lady over something that could’ve been handled differently and maturely as adults. I’m not a confrontational person at all and having that lady yell at me but her not wanting to listen to me and assume the worst is just a terrible feeling. I understand there are rules but we are also human and we can easily make a mistake by accident but it does not excuse her into yelling in that manner. She was also being racist and mimicking assuming I didn’t speak English because i stuttered to get my words out as I did because i was shocked on how she came at us so aggressively and we weren’t being rude or anything towards her. I was extremely disappointed as I loved going to Webers Cider Mill Farm and love supporting businesses and I am now debating on going anymore ever since my bad experience at Webers Peachberry Farm. Extremely disappointed.

I went peach and blueberry picking today with my family. This was my first experience at the peach berry farm. There is a lack of signage to tell you which direction to go and which road you can and can not drive on. The peach picking was a great time. My husband had to use the restroom and was told where to go to find the port a potty. We then followed a road to get to the blueberries, again, there was no signage to say “do not enter” or “take the same road back”, so we went. When we got up to the blueberry stand, a lady in sunglasses and a hat yelled at us for driving on the road we did saying that we were going too fast and could’ve hit someone walking through and were “driving through her farm”. I had no idea that was a road I shouldn’t have been driving on and didn’t think I was going too fast but it’s not my road to be in forcing a speed limit. As an adult, I feel as though the situation could’ve been handled differently and we could’ve been talked to in a more appropriate manner. I was so thrown off by the situation I didn’t even know what to say to her

A fun time with family and friends. Or even by yourself if you want. You’ll want to check their website or social media to see what is in season. You need to purchase what you want online and have your order number ready in order to check in.Usually the person that checks you in, is friendly but when I went a few weeks ago, the young man at the table was nonchalant/ rude when we asked for clarification on which blueberry area he was directing us to. This later may have been a problem because one of the women who work there, was driving by as we were picking blueberries and stopped to ask if he told us we could pick there. We told her yes and let her know he said it didn’t matter which side we were on. We were worried that maybe the berries were sprayed or something but figured she’d tell us that before driving off.Also- I get that you pay a price for a certain quantity of fruit but there usually is a lot of ripened fruit that is ready to fall off the tree or has fallen and it goes to waste. If people aren’t picking those fruit or there aren’t enough people picking during that day/ time, then it should be okay if a customer picks a few more than the container can hold. It’s so sad to see food wasted. We were told if the manager or what have you, was there, they wouldn’t have let us take the few extra fruit a couple of us had but the table attendants were still friendly about it which was super awesome of them.As for the flowers, they have a decent variety but please be very careful when walking in that area. There are trenches (?) dug on the outer perimeter of some of the flower beds and they’re deep enough to where an adult or child could twist an ankle or fall if they don’t see it. I don’t think I saw any signs though.Prices:$15 for flowers$7.50 for a quart of blackberries$6 for a quart of blueberries$14 for 1/2 peck of peaches(Larger quantities of fruit are available for purchase.)Wear a hat and bring water to drink because it is hot and humid. Dress comfortably. No totes allowed when picking (just leave them in your car to transfer your fruit over from the containers/ plastic bags they give you). And if you don’t like insects, probably not a good idea to come. The fields are not swarming with them but there are enough for those who don’t like them to not have a good time. Also, for obvious safety reasons, keep your little ones close. And unfortunately but understandably, no pets allowed (not sure about service animals). Reach out to them via social media if you have questions(calling will yield you nothing), but even then, they may not respond.Though they need to work on organizing and communicating information about picking, I’d recommend picking fruit and cutting flowers here. It’s a good time and inexpensive.Happy picking!??? ?

We had a great time and the fruit was delicious. The ladies running the stands were very kind and patiently explained the process to my kids and I.

There is something so incredibly satisfying about picking your own fruit - it's like getting back to basics as a human being. Located less than 30 mins from the city, this pick-your-own farm is owned and operated by the Weber family, who might be familiar to you because of the Weber Cider Mill Farm Market in Parkville. Depending on the time of the year, you're able to harvest strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and/or apples. PLEASE NOTE: they do not have regular hours - instead, they will announce dates and times via their Facebook or website. You must pre-purchase session entry (you'll get turned away otherwise). They are also very strict about time, and, of course, it's weather permitting. The staff are helpful but relatively hands-off - just follow the rules and be respectful. Great activity with kids!

Go every year since I started going. Apple picking starts around September and it’s best to go between then and end of October but they pick all the way up until mid November. Whilst there they told us about peach picking which starts around July-September. Flowers & Berries are in the spring! ?
