I've grown to like Aldi. This one in Glen Burnie did not disappoint. Great variety, great prices. This trip was for sloppy Joe. It's been a while, but I think the house brand was better then the national.

Clean good selection Managernent could be a little friendlier .Overall I can't complain. One thing I don't like at this location it's a guy that always offer to take your cart back to get the quarter. I have seen other Aldis does not put up with that at all just my opinion

I was shopping tonight with my husband for Instacart. We had huge technical difficulties and I understand that at 6:30 on Sunday, an Instacart shopper having technical difficulties is not ideal, but we did our absolute best to hurry and get out of the way. I apologized to the cashier, an older, thin woman with long hair in a ponytail. I said “I’m so sorry, my husband and I are Instacarting, he’ll be right here in a moment” (he was walking around trying to get his cell service to work—but nothing helped, the instacart app crashed) and the cashier rudely replied “well he better hurry up then.” Okay…ouch. So I stopped talking after that. My husband was very clearly anxious and doing his best to fix the situation, as the cashier just rudely stared at us as if we were not possibly going fast enough for her (it was only about 2 minutes.) Finally, we determined that we would have to use our card to pay due to tech issues. We said “we’re just going to have to use our card,” and the cashier AGAIN rudely remarks “Yup, waiting on you.” Are you serious??? We didn’t make you work here and we were kind and apologetic…and you were ugly and rude. Uncalled for.

All I am going to say is that eggs were $1.80 per dozen with a maximum of 6 per order. That’s amazing.

My experiences at the Glen Burnie, MD Aldi are usually an all around great experience. However, today I stopped in just to get a few things so I only took a bag with me; no cart needed. When I was checking out, I asked the cashier if she wanted to put the items directly in the bag. So as to save her cart for the next customer. No response given, and as my large open bag sat opened in the cart for my 6 items, she continued to put the groceries in the cart not the bag. After I paid preceded to take the cart and she grabbed it and said “no I need the cart”. I said well I need my groceries as well. She wouldn’t look at me and started scanning the next customer’s order and putting it on top of my groceries!!! What the heck is that all about? Besides being shocked at the lack of customer service, there was no feelings at all coming from this young woman. It’s sad because this is (was) my favorite Aldi.

Why the one star? Only one register open. Yet there was a manger around, he could have gotten in the register, but nope. He’s rather go stock shelves. Ridiculous.

This Aldi is pretty good, but I think the one in Morrell Park on Washington Blvd is better.

They never have anyone working and you usually have to stand in line 30 to 40 minutes to check out

I can always find what I need. Location was clean & neat. Im noticing the abundance of bioengineered products(as with other markets as well). They do have some good vegan options though.
