Super friendly and professional. Eugenia was great! The staff here are the opposite of the staff at the Fort Ave Chipotle (read the reviews and you'll understand!)

Just had an incredible experience at the Glen Burnie Red Cross Donation Center! The staff there is amazing - so friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated. They made the whole process a breeze and left me feeling empowered. Kudos to the #RedCross team! #DonationCenter #AmazingStaff #PowerRed

I hadn't been since 2018 until my recent appointment on April 30th, 2022. Still easy to get to, plenty of parking. They completely re-constructed the center and it looks beautiful and it's comfortable. The platelet chairs are nearly recliners with attached televisions and headphones. They have ROKU! You can watch nearly anything you want to watch!Delores at reception is kind and informative. The technicians are attentive and skilled. It was my third time donating platelets and it was a positive experience. No bruising at the site afterwards, no pain. I felt well after the appointment. They don't rush you to leave, they encourage you to stay and enjoy the refreshments. They have a cute little snack bar with plenty of snacks, a little mini fridge. They go out of their way to make it a good experience. The only reason I took off a star is because the lady who took my vitals wasn't that friendly (she wasn't mean). But other than that - I highly encourage everyone to visit this location. I plan to make it a habit.

I have been going to the Glen Burnie Donation Center for years. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. It is easy to schedule appointments and they is little or no wait time when I arrive. I will continue to donate at this center.

How is it you can schedule and appointment for first thing on a Sunday morning...show up 5 minutes before and be told it's going to be an hour wait. I'm sorry do you need blood or not? This is unacceptable. I dont have hours to sit around so I can give you my blood. Red Cross if there truly is a shortage like you speak of.....get your act together.

These Red Cross site will cancel your appointment a day before from your blood donation app and will never tell you why. And then if you re-shcuelde it online again and show up, they will try to find all types of excuses for you not to donate blood. Excuses can be any range from due to short staff, you are late etc. I have been donating blood almost every 2 months+ and went to different centers. But this center is shady, they are lazy, incompetent. Looks like American Red Cross has too much blood and running this not for profit for money only. All thr crooked people at the top management needs to get fired and they need to get sued for all thses miss management. And if they top gives excise that they have no qualoty control about the locals staff, one more reason to sue them and fire them. Need to do open audit, need new leadership. I took off from work just to do ate blood and they try to find all the excuses not to. That is a shame for the whole human kind.

Such a traumatic experience. Left sitting in a pool of my own blood.Went to donate antibody plasma. First time ever donating plasma. Got someone who was new at doing the procedure, nbd, it was apparently their second time doing so, again nbd, but they were very unsure the steps of setting things up, started to worry if it was going to done correctly. Then they set everything up and stuck me with a needle. The boss stepped in to pick another vein for the needle, they put a bandage over the original stick, and went to go look for another needle although they left the pressure gauge on my arm, then within 30 seconds I was bleeding profusely. From there I was sitting in my own blood as I was asking for assistance. At that point I was very unsure that they really were going to do this procedure right, so I left. I won’t be back to this location since I am not convinced the training is adequate. Please train your staff on the process of the procedures before they start training on live patients, especially those new to it all. Have them setup machines using info but not on actual patients until they have it down 100%. And start them off with patients that have done the plasma procedure before. Not those that have never done it, making them feel very uneasy about ever wanting to donate again.Very disappointed with the whole experience. Was really looking forward to making a difference, and was left not knowing if I ever want to donate anything again. If I ever decide to donate again, know that I wouldn’t be comfortable going to this location, and I recommend others look elsewhere if possible.

Love this place. The only location I'll ever go through. Last week I did my platelet donation and Ashley was beyond amazing. Asking me about what I was watching, if I was cold, talking about my work and where I used to live (texas). She made sure I felt ok during the whole process. They have new TVs at the end of each bed connected through Netflix and amazing nurses. Snacks were very helpful to replenish quickly. The facility was clean, new and bright. I've been here when it was upstairs but this new location suits them. They made sure I got my donation shirt before I left and checking in was a breeze! Covid restrictions were in place and easy to manage. Love this team. See ya next week!

I have scheduled 4 appointments for this location and have had all 4 canceled! The 3rd time I spoke to a Red Cross Supervisor and was able to keep my 3rd appointment. I had an appointment today which was canceled! I have to give blood because of a medication that I’m on. I can have a stroke if I don’t donate! A supervisor called me today and was very rude to me! I get multiple calls from Red Cross to donate and this is how I’m treated! With so many cancellations I’m surprised they are still in business!

The place has changed. The location is on the east side of the building if you are looking ahead of the main entrance. Real nice setup and looks to be well organized. Please be kind to your phlebotomist they are taking your blood hah.

For many years I have donated blood, platelets and plasma but today was my first time visiting this Red Cross location. I made my appointment online a couple weeks ago and the process was easy. Upon arrival I was provided hand sanitizer and had my temperature taken. I was then provided with an ipad to complete the questionnaire. I could have done it online through an application but I wasn't familiar with it since it was my first time donating in a while with Red Cross. A few minutes later I was taken into a private room where my vitals were taken and I had to sign a couple forms. I want to say Kelly was the name of the lady helping me at this stage but I can't remember for sure. Either way, she was super friendly! Afterwards I was sent over to the donation area. I was greeted by Eugenia. She was AMAZING from start to finish. Super friendly, welcoming and gentle. I donated platelets today and it was my first time so she explained some of the process. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time by checking on me and providing blankets. The needle sticks and removal were painless. Prior to leaving she showed and explained what everything was and showed me the bag of my platelets. She told me I had a ton of them and their "recruiter" would be reaching outnto me to schedule future donations. I felt proud. =) lol The facility was clean and organized. I loved the fact that each bed had a tv with Netflix and headphones. While Eugenia was setting up she had me pick a movie. All of the places I donated prior did not have this amenity and it seemed to make the donation and time go way faster. After your donation they have you spend ten minutes in the canteen area where there is water, juice, cookies and crackers to snack on. Overall, this was one of the best donations I have had in years. I will definitely be back when I am eligible again.

I've donated here a few times and have had nothing but good experiences. My processing has always gone quick, all my questions answered, and my donations taken seamlessly. Though I donate somewhat regularly, I'm still really uncomfortable with needles. Luckily, all the phlebotomists I've had here have been very sweet, and showed great kindness and concern in helping me feel as comfortable as possible during the process. I really love knowing I can make a difference with my donation and still be comfortable and confident in doing so, and that has so much to do with the personnel. I will definitely continue to give blood, and this place will be my preferred spot to do so.
