The people was polite and niceThe sun was nice and very clean there was a warning posted on the windows to let you know about smoking in it and how much you would have to pay the cleaning of the vehicle if that happen in itThe gas tank was full.

I am sharing this review on behalf of my son, who rented a car in Florida and returned it to the Glen Burnie location. My son drove to Maryland with 2 dogs. He did have the seats covered with blankets and was not informed that he needed to vacuum the car before returning it. He obviously signed something saying that he would return it clean, but was only told by the rental agent to return with a full tank. There was some dog hair in the car, not a large amount but there was some. He literally had the car 1 day and the dogs were in the car for 1 day. It did need to be vacuumed, which he would have done if given the opportunity. Instead, the Glen Burnie location charged him $450!!!! And when he asked to clean the car himself he was told it was too late, 10 minutes after they informed him of the excessive charge. I am a frequent customer of Budget, as I travel quite a bit. That ends today. These charges are extreme, and I see how Budget operates. Sadly, they are not a customer focused company if they feel that $450 to vacuum a car, even if they need to disinfect. They are looking for fees to expand their bottom line, at the expense of their customers.

After an absolutely horrendous experience at bwi rental and a manager that would do less than anything possible to help, (including avoiding eye contact) the associate here (Tedi Tessema) went above and beyond to help us secure a vehicle for our journey home. I like Avis and have for a while but corporate needs to understand who’s good and who isn’t in their job. Bwi isn’t good, but this location has a great employee who actually cared and helped. 100000 stars.

Although I could not get the car I booked for, management made sure I still had a vehicle and it was more accommodating than the car I booked. Pick up and return was really quick. Owner/Manager was very polite and welcoming. Only issue I had was the cigarette smell from the previous customer. I will definitely book with this place again and highly recommend to others.

NEVER USE AVIS!!!!!!!!. I prepaid and returned the rental a day early. I was told I would not get the money back for the day I didn't use it.

Do not rent from this location. They are running a scam. I own a large HVAC company based out of Las Vegas. We have a big project in Maryland and I flew two of my Sales reps into Maryland to rent from this location. They took the reservation secured the deposit and rental fee. Once they secured all of the money they proceeded to ask him for a social security number. (Since when do you they run credit to rent a car) Once my rep provided them with his social they declined the rental. Then they proceeded to inform him that the money he paid for the rental would not be returned until 21 business days. This is unacceptable. Fortunately we were able to file a fraud claim with our bank and they are returning the funds immediately. The problem here is the order of operation is shady business. Why would you even process funds until the reservation is completely approved? And why would they think anyone would actually wait 21 days to get there money back? Do they not realize the bank will always take the customers side in this situation? If I were them I would be careful with this type of activity. Being a business owner I know that too many dispute claims your merchant company will jam up your money and possibly drop you as a customer. It's a huge pain in the you know what. That's there problem now. We got our money back and the dispute has already been processed but to anyone thinking of renting from this location please think twice. I had to come back and add more to this review. This is so ridiculous it's laughable. After refusing to rent to my Sales Rep and not returning the money we just received an email notification that the rental reservation is past the reserved time and if the car is not picked up there will be no refund. What a joke(lol) This location must be going out of business. This is complete fraud. After that email I am seriously considering filing a lawsuit claim against this company. This must be some kind of joke.

My coworker was on her way to work and her check engine light was flashing. Due to the results of the diagnostic test, she was unable to drive the vehicle. Enter needing a rental vehicle immediately. She reserved a vehicle online to be picked up at this location. Upon leaving her residence around 3:30pm she was contacted by a representative informing her no cars were available even though the website allowed her to make a reservation. The representative informed her the airport's rental facility likely had cars, however, it would have cost my coworker $400 more to rent from that location. The representative then said the facility was closing at 5pm and he would call her if a car came in, but there were no guarantees. My coworker was in dire need so she cancelled the reservation after speaking to the Budget rep so she could reserve a much needed vehicle elsewhere. She was then informed Budget was keeping a $150 cancellation fee which she would be responsible for paying for even though they had NO CARS. She was informed if she had waited until after they had closed she would have received a full refund. This is a HORRIBLE policy and is legit out of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry reserved a car, but none were available. #AnybodyCanJustTakeThem She contacted customer service and explained the situation. She was informed that was Budget's policy and no refund would be provided despite Budget having NO CARS. Budget, shame on you! Your policies are terrible and you swindled (yes, I said swindled) a single mom out of $150. Cars is literally in your title and when you do not have one when someone is in need due to an emergency, you should make it right. Poor customer service and the company missed a chance to make it right. I will never be renting from you or Avis in the future.

Worst experience in my life. Car caught a flat tire at midnight. Emergency roadside wasn’t able to get someone out to me until the next day. Had to stay in the middle of nowhere in the dark ALONE praying nothing happened. When he finally came the next morning at 9am he put donut on car, the airport in the city i was in wasn’t able to switch out the car, so I went and brought a tire so I could drive back to Maryland. Now this has added two extra days to rental. Finally make it back to Maryland. Customer service states they will refund for the two extra days. I receive my deposit back and they did NOT refund me back for the two extra days and nor was I able to be compensated for the tire i had to purchase to get back to Maryland. I will NEVER rent with Avis again. No compassion, no urgency, no sympathy for customers. A women in the country of a state stranded in the night on a dark, heavy wooded area was not urgent to them. No Thank You!

Was having a terrible day: tire blow out and then towed to dealership, which tells me tire won't be in until the next day and no loaner cars available. Went next door in a bad mood, but they took care of me. The agent got me in a rental quickly and gave me a nice discount. It brightened the day, thank you.

Worst car rental experience. If you prepay the rental they will not accept it. The person on the counter was rude. I own a moving company and because of this car rental experience. I will not be using budget either. No one can show me a policy of what we were being denied for. Called 1800 number and was told there is no supervisor on duty. Save your money go somewhere else. They are ridiculous and will not understand. Here is to 0 stars.
