I would give more stars to this Banfield if I could! I switched to this location several years ago looking for better care for my senior dog, Savannah, and I got exactly that. The vet tech staff and vets (shoutout to Dr. Bowers and Dr. Cotton) are absolutely amazing and really show that they care for you and your pet. Raising a dog from baby to senior is not easy but they helped me embrace all the changes that were coming our way and made sure to always make room for us on the schedule when emergencies popped up. I recently moved out of state and will miss taking Savannah here so much! I hope to find an office near our new home as great as this one. Thank you for everything! ❤️?

Our fur babies love going here.( Until they find where they are. Lol) They give trouble going in but not going with the staff. Until Handsome Homer gets to the back door. The whole staff is super nice, friendly, kind, courtesy. If they can't get you in that day they try there best to get you in as soon as they can. They even have dropped off appointment where the vet calls you.We have the plan on both fur babies that includes there heart worm and flea and tick medication. It is well worth it to pay each month with the plan no matter how many times they go you don't pay for office visits. The only downside is that the plan is a load, if you fur babies pass away in the Year you either have to paid it up todated or finished the monthly payments. You get X-rays, blood work, dental cleaning, plus discount on medication and nail trimming and rectrum cleaned out, all there vaccines. It is well worth not to pay out of the pocket each month. During the year your plan does not raise.Good luck and God bless

So let’s talk about Dr. Cotton…Took my dog Kash in for a 9 am drop off appointment to address a concern that I had. I found a small mass on her stomach and wanted to get it checked out. When I dropped her off, I showed the intake technician, who took her to the back, where to find it, so that she would be able to show the doctor. Fast forward to about 1:45 pm… I get a call from Dr. Cotton, telling me that she can not find the mass. I told her that I showed the young lady who ushered her back exactly where it was & she said that she also does not know where it is now. That seemed a bit unbelievable. She then says “anyway, you can come pick her up now & when you get here, you can show me where it is”. So let me get this right… I leave my dog in your care for nearly five hours, just for you to not do anything for her that was asked of you. Then you want me to come pick her up and show you myself, so once I show you & you feel it, then what? It literally defeats the whole purpose of her going there for a drop off appointment. I asked her if she could please check her again, explaining that she could find it on the left side of her stomach, directly under her rib cage. She replied “well I touched all over her and I didn’t feel anything”. So at this point, I understood that she had no intention of actually helping my dog and just wanted to end the conversation. I immediately went to go pickup my dog. Once I got there, I showed her where the mass was. Miraculously, she was now suddenly able to feel it. She then tells me that there’s nothing she can do right now and maybe the next time she comes in for her dental cleaning, it can be addressed. So now I have to ask, what was the purpose of me dropping her off here? If you knew that nothing was going to be able to be done for her, why make the appointment? Also the person who checked me in told me that my dog would be getting bloodwork done. When I picked her up, I was told that no bloodwork was done. Then I received a call today telling me that my dog was given two vaccines while there, that I never gave them consent to give her. This is thee worst experience I have ever had at any Banfield ever. Dr. Cotton was totally dismissive, disrespectful and rude. She told me that she lost two dogs earlier, so in her mind I guess that gave her a justifiable reason to not give proper care to a patient. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. The safety and health of my dog is a priority to me and I will not continue to leave her in the care of a doctor who does not share that concern. She basically told me that she didn’t like that I questioned her, so she refused to give my dog proper care. I will be pursuing this issue to the fullest extent that the law allows me.

They are great. The vets and the staff are all really friendly and love the animals. My family and I had to put to sleep our 16 yr old min pin in March. They were really kind and considerate towards our feelings. They even sent a sympathy card signed by the office. We will continue to use Banfield for our other furry family.

Have been using this Banfield location since we moved here in 2019. The front staff as well as tech staff and doctors have all been wonderful to our two dogs. We have seen different doctors through the years and haven't had a vet we didn't like. When it came time to send Lola to the rainbow bridge they were all so very companionate and went above and beyond. This is my favorite location in this area as I have been to the one off ordinance road ( my least favorite location). I don't think I can recommend them enough.

I would not recommend Banfield to anyone. I explained that my puppy had not eaten for almost 8 days and I had taken them to the ER a week ago. His stool was black and he was sleeping all day, etc... The ER recommend I make an appointment with his Vet. So I called the Glen Burnie office where I take him told to call another place that they are not a hospital. The young lady in line was so worthless, uncaring and had no compassion. I called the Pasadena MD office and explained my situation she offer me a drop off for the 19th of May. I explained I needed him to be seen ASAP! She told me nothing was available. This is Ludacris. This is my baby boy, my child...

Our cat passed away back in February of this year… we came to this location to send off our furbabies remains to be cremated. They let our furbabies ashes sit in their office for a week claiming that they weren’t able to locate my account to call me…. VERY disappointing and very hard to believe they couldn’t locate my account… I’ve been a customer with Banfield for almost a decade and have never had any issues being contacted by the office before. You just don’t do that with someone’s fur baby. Shame on you.
