I SHOP WITH BUDGET TRUCKS FREQUENTLY. LET YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE KNOW YOU OFFER AFTER HOUR SERVICE !!! THEY INFORMED ME AFTER HOUR SERVICE WAS NOT AN OPTION. I MISSED MY FLIGHT, HAD TO SPEND MONEY ON A HOTEL SMH. I WAS VERY INCONVENIENCED DUE TO NEGLIGENCE !!

I am sharing this review on behalf of my son, who rented a car in Florida and returned it to the Glen Burnie location. My son drove to Maryland with 2 dogs. He did have the seats covered with blankets and was not informed that he needed to vacuum the car before returning it. He obviously signed something saying that he would return it clean, but was only told by the rental agent to return with a full tank. There was some dog hair in the car, not a large amount but there was some. He literally had the car 1 day and the dogs were in the car for 1 day. It did need to be vacuumed, which he would have done if given the opportunity. Instead, the Glen Burnie location charged him $450!!!! And when he asked to clean the car himself he was told it was too late, 10 minutes after they informed him of the excessive charge. I am a frequent customer of Budget, as I travel quite a bit. That ends today. These charges are extreme, and I see how Budget operates. Sadly, they are not a customer focused company if they feel that $450 to vacuum a car, even if they need to disinfect. They are looking for fees to expand their bottom line, at the expense of their customers.

Horrible customer service. I called in for pricing and availability. Before I was even able to tell the gentleman (actually very rude man) the dates that I need he told me that they were completely sold out before he even knew my needs. I do understand sometimes there’s a language barrier but I don’t understand when people are so rude and still continue to keep their job or their business at float. We do a lot of business in this area and will never go to this place again.

My coworker was on her way to work and her check engine light was flashing. Due to the results of the diagnostic test, she was unable to drive the vehicle. Enter needing a rental vehicle immediately. She reserved a vehicle online to be picked up at this location. Upon leaving her residence around 3:30pm she was contacted by a representative informing her no cars were available even though the website allowed her to make a reservation. The representative informed her the airport's rental facility likely had cars, however, it would have cost my coworker $400 more to rent from that location. The representative then said the facility was closing at 5pm and he would call her if a car came in, but there were no guarantees. My coworker was in dire need so she cancelled the reservation after speaking to the Budget rep so she could reserve a much needed vehicle elsewhere. She was then informed Budget was keeping a $150 cancellation fee which she would be responsible for paying for even though they had NO CARS. She was informed if she had waited until after they had closed she would have received a full refund. This is a HORRIBLE policy and is legit out of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry reserved a car, but none were available. #AnybodyCanJustTakeThem She contacted customer service and explained the situation. She was informed that was Budget's policy and no refund would be provided despite Budget having NO CARS. Budget, shame on you! Your policies are terrible and you swindled (yes, I said swindled) a single mom out of $150. Cars is literally in your title and when you do not have one when someone is in need due to an emergency, you should make it right. Poor customer service and the company missed a chance to make it right. I will never be renting from you or Avis in the future.

Worst car rental experience. If you prepay the rental they will not accept it. The person on the counter was rude. I own a moving company and because of this car rental experience. I will not be using budget either. No one can show me a policy of what we were being denied for. Called 1800 number and was told there is no supervisor on duty. Save your money go somewhere else. They are ridiculous and will not understand. Here is to 0 stars.

I tried to rent a car and never told that i have to have a credit check! needed a car for bday trip!! I have never had a credit check for car. beware don't rent from Budget!!! In Glen Burnie

I’m the owner of Roberts Family Movers LLC. My first time visiting this site was great. My truck was there and ready for me. Even though I reserved it for two days they helped me get through the whole week dealing with my clients. Great pricing. This guy understand business. He also answered all my questions with great detail. Thanks guys hopefully I see you this week coming again.

This entire company is awful!! I have never had such a terrible experience with a rental car company or any company for that matter. I had a long term rental and after returning it, I was paid up(they were taking it weekly from my account) they took out over $1100 out of my account! And they also owed me the $250 security deposit from when I picked it up. After speaking with someone in corporate they were basically clueless and told me it was multiple security deposits that came out after I returned the vehicle?!?!! What sense does that make?? As for this particular Budget- the man that works there, is rude, barely speaks and is of little to no help what so ever.

I have never written a review for anything in my life ever but I am so upset my this whole ordeal by BUDGET RENTAL CAR IN GLEN BURNIE MD. Don't rent from this place it's a rip off!!!...I had rented a car for 4 days and then was told I reserved the car for 2 days and that was for $182= $91 day rental which is nuts to me to pay more then $45 max. So I call up this budget directly (eventually they answered the phone!!) and guy was very nice he said he had given me a rate of a weekly rental rate for the $182 I had reserved the car for and I thought oh very nice person but he lied I should've just brought the car back that day, he went on to charge me another $163 on top of the $182 prepaid bill I had paid so now I paid $345+ for a lousy compact rental car for a week, a lot more then I expected or was able to spend on the rental but that doesn't matter they charged me that extra charge without me knowing and now it has messed up my finances and have to scramble to put money in account so my real bills don't bounce so please watch out for this fast talking guy just bring it back when due don't listen to his sales pitch if that's what it was more like a scam...and with the world where it is it's not cool to rip people off when each dollar we have is badly needed...I have never written a review of any kind in my life but this was needed and I need the world to know they are crooks!!!

Made a reservation for a truck(at the Glen Burnie location)and paid the deposit 2 days in advance, for one they said they had available. Got a call the next day saying they didn't have a truck at all(only a van) so they checked their inventory at another location and said they had one, so transfered the deposit and info to that location.

Always given wonderful service by the fantastic manager Teddy. Teddy is professional, friendly and helpful. My husband and I can not imagine renting from any other location. Cars are always clean and in good repair with low mileage.

I recently had one of the worst experiences at this Budget rental location. I had a "confirmed" reservation that had been made a week in advance and when I got dropped off and went in to pick up my car I was told they had NO cars! What?? How does this happen? The guy at the desk was no help at all except to give me the 800 phone number to customer service. HA! Could barely understand that guys English (?) and he too was no help at all. "We have cars in Baltimore City but you have to get there yourself". I was stranded and this place was not even offering help. Called a friend who just happened to be available to pick me up and take me to Enterprise rental about half a mile up the road.....they got me in a car with wonderful customer service. Wish I could give Budget a minus 10 stars. Never again Budget!!

This is one of the most unprofessional truck rental company's I have ever tried to use. I created a reservation 1 month prior to my move to ensure that a truck would be available for rent. Two days prior to my move date, I was contacted by a representative at this establishment notifying me that no trucks are available for me. Not only was there no empathy or apology given. I was told to contact customer service and see what they can do. I highly recommend using a more professional and credible moving rental company in the area like a Penske or Uhaul. The lack of oversight and organization should not occur within a company that once had such a good reputation.
