I will start my review from the beginning so anyone willing to buy here gets my experience(s). FYI - I live in a Hepburn model and bought on June 2016. When first looking at the homes, all the sales associate were very accommodating and professional. Choosing the house, and the floor plan and doing the initial paperwork was a lot easier then buying a car. During the building phase, the building manager at the time was very informative and always replied to any questions I had. He no longer is the building manager, so I don't know how this new guy works. Customizing the home was an experience. The lady that helped us kept us within budget and had so much patience with the things we were undecided with. Closing on the home sucked. They kept changing the date around, and we didn't know what to expect. They messaged me at around 11:00 pm with a confirmation of a scheduled time for the NEXT day. (Keep in mind, that if you work, the inconsistency of knowing when to take work off can be an issue to your boss). They also needed random paperwork LITERALLY on the last minute. Like I said before, 11:00 pm was a confirmed date/time for closing. But at during late evening they were asking for paperwork. A year into living here, and Ryan H. kept their word, and we did the 1 year free maintenance. They fixed any revealing nails, damages to the floor, any HVAC issues, and even landscaping issues. The process was easy to set up (its done online), and they usually come pretty fast to help you out. Currently, the only issues I am having, and other people have had too is the kitchen sink faucet likes to leak, so once in a while you have to tighten it up. I couldn't get this change, because it started doing this on me after the "bumper to bumper" warranty ended. Then, some of my kitchen cabinet panels seem to get a few screws loose, so unless you constantly tighten them, they end up overlapping and not fully closing. BIGGEST issue thus far has been the swales and drainage "ditches/slopes" in between the Hepburn models. For those of you considering Hepburns, please realize that your home doesn't come with a garage, and in the HOA it states that your garbage can cannot be outside in the front. This means, if you are NOT located in the outside homes, and reside between homes, then you have to cross a neighbors backyard, and go through a tilted slope which can become very slippery when it rains. Currently, if I get a fence in my backyard, the fence will end where the swale start, meaning my neighbors will have to go through the longer route to take their garbage out. So far, this issue has not been fixed, and people are not realizing this when they sign for their new Hepburn.
