If I could rate 0 stars I would. This pharmacy never has my medication in stock, it is always on back order. I never ever had problems with Rote Aid. This is supposed to be the biggest pharmacy but yet they never have medication in stock. I will definitely find another pharmacy!!!!!!

The wait/line is ridiculous! No matter what time of day I go, I have to wait 30 minutes or more.... usually much more! The line is 20+ people deep easily, even with 6 people behind the counter. The drive-thru is no longer an option (closed) but it's even worse.

They won't call you if there's an issue with your prescription, and definitely won't pick up the phone when you're trying to find the cause for the delay, and act like you're in the wrong when you come in person asking what's going on. I have NEVER had a smooth time picking up a prescription from here. Stay away from this location if your medications require a strict schedule.

I don't know what's going on at this store. It used to be pretty good but as others have said prescriptions get stuck "processing" and then they just disappear. Right now I'm trying to call because my inhaler order was cancelled after I had already paid for delivery. I'm well past an hour on hold. Management needs to do something. Hire some people to get it done.

I understand that the employees here are very busy and understaffed, but my dog has been without her pain meds for a week, and they keep telling me "it's out of stock and should be here tomorrow".Plus, it's even worse for the employees now because Rite-Aid closed and transferred all of their pharmacy clients here. Please do yourself and the staff a favor (this will take stress off of their plate, AND prevent you from waiting 45 minutes at the drive-thru): transfer your scripts to a different pharmacy.

The worst pharmacy. Went yesterday to pick up 3 prescriptions and they only had 1 in stock. I’ve been trying to call all day to see if the other two are available and no answer. They never answer the phone, I’ve been on hold for 42 minutes currently. I try using the app like it says and it won’t show any prescriptions I’ve been waiting to pick up for 3 days now.not to mention when you go in person the line is extremely long and they are soooo slow.

This CVS Pharmacy (the store itself is good) is horrible! They don’t answer phones, and mess up the orders, don’t call you for any issues. I’ve been to so many CVS’ in MD and VA and this is the worst one. I just transferred all my prescriptions to Walgreens this morning. I have always loved CVS but this is a mess store.

I don't know if it's all CVS Pharms or not but they're horrible here. My medicine is never in stock and they never answer the phone so I can see what's going on with my meds....I have to always drive there. I hate this place and am switching.

Should have 0 stars by far the worst pharmacy there is. CVS should just close this store and fire entire staff they are absolutely incompetent and useless. I would never recommend anyone dying and in need of aspirin to shop there. Real time score - 5 stars

Minute Clinic fail, again!!I made an appointment online for drive up testing and - after waiting in the long drive thru line there was no one available to give me the test. This is the second time CVS has allowed me to make an appointment online, saying to go to this CVS, saying I was confirmed and then I get there and they can't do anything.I have to find / pay transportation and then end up not getting my appointment anyway.Stop letting me schedule things you won't actually do!

Why don't zero stars exist because not everyone deserves any stars especially this place. I've been waiting since 1:30pm for a prescription it is now almost 5:30pm and this is the same every time I come, long lines and bad attitudes. Why haven't corporate even looked into this and the fact that I'm not the first or the only one. This isn't snacks or fried chicken this is people's prescriptions people can literally die without some meds and these are the people you have dealing with it. When a lawsuit comes along they will start to pay attention.

Terrible. You have to show up and beg that your perscription gets filled. The drive thru will be closed so dont think you're dodging the 45 minute line inside. You will be greeted by a staff member in their first week on the job. They will be clueless and refer you to another colorful croc wearing employee that will catch attitude with you. "We're short staffed and 5 days behind" I know you're short staffed and 5 days behind pal its been that way for a year. Awful experience every time I go. I want to congratulate the CVS pharmacy staff at this location, as their service is so incredibly poor that they have earned my first 1 star review! ?

I work at a doctor's office. A patient called me asking if I could help figure out why this CVS hasn't processed his refill. He has been out of an important med for 5 days and he had requested the refill before running out. On the website, he says it just says "Pending." I called the pharmacy during regular business hours hoping to speak someone about this and was on hold for 35 minutes without a single person picking up. I ended up hanging up without connecting with anyone. I am fairly confident this could have been resolved with a couple minute conversation. Frustrating and frankly, not acceptable, for patients and providers who use this CVS for their medications.

I have just gotten out of the hospital after an emergency 5 night stay. The hospital said that the pharmacy had confirmed all of my medication would be available for pick up. Of course they were not, whatever stuff happens. An hour later my fiancé went to pick up my medications. When he got home I noticed one (important one) was missing. I called the pharmacy and of course it’s an AI service. I found my missing medication was in que and said it would be ready on Wednesday. Today is Sunday.. I need that medication today.. I have called up and have been waiting on hold for 1 hour trying to get a hold of a human to see what I can do about this.. no one is answering,I’m literally on hold while I type out this review. I can not drive to go up there and talk with someone because of my illness. I keep thinking about if I was an elder person with cancer restricted and this was happening. I’m so sick of careless ignorance.. why don’t people care anymore.. I’ll be switching pharmacies of course and it makes sense this pharmacy cvs 7400 ritchie highway had such a terrible rating because the people working there. Have no compassion, they don’t care, they are rude and ignorant.

I love CVS in general, but the pharmacy staff didn't seem to be bothered that their listed hours online aren't accurate. My husband went to retrieve my Rx after 9pm at this location after seeing online that they close at 10pm, just to discover that they actually close at 9pm. He returned the next day and kindly informed a pharmacy staff member of this and she responded without concern saying, "I know". When he told her that he drove 30 minutes to get there since my regular CVS was out of stock of my meds, she shrugged and said "sorry". I know it's not her responsibility, individually, for the incorrect hours listed online, but her attitude reflected how little she even cared. The management needs to address this issue. I'm sure we haven't been the only ones this has happened to.
