A Disappointing Experience: Review of a Pharmacist with Poor Customer Service
My recent visit to the pharmacy left me utterly disappointed and frustrated due to the abysmal customer service provided by one of the pharmacists on duty. From the moment I approached the counter, it was evident that the pharmacist lacked not only basic courtesy but also fundamental intelligence in handling customer inquiries.
Firstly, the pharmacist seemed completely disinterested in assisting me. When I asked about a specific medication and its availability, they responded with a blank stare, followed by a vague gesture towards the shelves. It was as if they had no knowledge of their own inventory or any willingness to check.
Moreover, when I requested information about potential side effects of a prescribed medication, their response was shockingly inadequate. They fumbled through a worn-out reference book and ended up providing me with incorrect information, which I later verified online. This level of incompetence is unacceptable in a profession where accuracy and reliability are paramount.
Furthermore, the pharmacist's demeanor was outright dismissive and condescending. They seemed annoyed by my questions and made no effort to hide their impatience. It was evident that they lacked the basic communication skills needed to interact respectfully with customers.
In addition to the poor service, the overall atmosphere of the pharmacy was unwelcoming. There was a lack of organization, and it appeared that customer care was not a priority for the staff, especially this particular pharmacist.
In conclusion, my experience at this pharmacy was disappointing and frustrating due to the pharmacist's abysmal customer service skills and evident lack of knowledge. It is concerning that someone in such a critical role could display such incompetence and disregard for customer needs. I strongly advise management to address these issues promptly to avoid further customer dissatisfaction and to uphold the reputation of their establishment.
I TRANSFERRED MY PRESCRIPTION OUT OF THIS PLACE RIGHT AFTER THIS INTERACTION, CANNOT IMAGINE THE NIGHTMARE YOU'D HAVE TO GO THROUGH IN THE FUTURE IF I STILL HAVE THIS AS MY PHARMACY.

I am very annoyed with the behavior of this pharmacy. There are two women, one old and one middle-aged, that I talk to and they do not answer my question. When one of them answered, the answer was very mean and with despicable looks. I will not go to that pharmacy again. Please pay attention to such employees.

Waited in the pharmacy drive thru line for 30 minutes for the woman at the window to tell me their computer wasn't working and I could wait for it to restart or come inside. I asked her why can't she just take my card to one of the registers up front. She said they were in use. So I assume there is a long line and I took my chances waiting for the computer to restart another 30 minutes. No one ever comes back to the window. I go into the building and there is ONE person staffing ONE register and ONE person in line. While 7 more people were in the back chit chatting complaining about the cars in the drive thru honking.
Why would they not just close the drive thru if they can't take our cards otherwise? Why would they not just tell me upfront "the computer isn't working at all. Just come in?" This CVS has been a complete joke every time I get there but this one takes the cake and we will no longer get our perscriptions through CVS because I know this is not a unique experience to this one location. Which just speaks to how corporate has given up on taking care of their business and customers and employees and I do not want my family's health in the hands of a corporation that clearly does not care.

I always use this pharmacy and always have a decent experience. Sometimes the team member behind the counter is a little bit short (this is my experience over many years) but they are always helpful. I have gotten medications and scheduled vaccines here and it is always easy. The wait time has never been too long, about 4-5 hours at the longest when I brought my physical prescriptions in. I highly recommend them.

I have never been so treated like trash by a pharmacist over the phone. I am a front desk receptionist and I pride myself on being kind and patient. I was kind and patient when speaking to the pharmacist today. It was a woman with an accent, though I did not get her name. I, with patience, told her my poor sick husband has been waiting 5 hours for his prescription because this pharmacy wouldn’t transfer his prescription to the correct pharmacy (there was a mix up when the prescription was prescribed), and the pharmacist at THIS pharmacy completely cut me off repeatedly and rudely, and was speaking over me to repeat “ma’am, we don’t have the prescription, the other pharmacy does.” I hadn’t even finished explaining myself yet. When I tried to again, she cut me off, again.
Well obviously YOU DO have the prescription, and you didn’t send it. Because the correct pharmacy keeps saying they never received it from you. Have one ounce of compassion or care. They hired the bare minimum when they picked you, MA’AM. Have the day you deserve.

All the 3 last staff who work there are very rude and no customer service. Everyone is busy in the work field but at least acknowledge the customer and let them know u will be right with them regardless if ur on the phone or not. Don’t ignore the customer and give a dirty look and speak amongst ur coworker telling them “ oh geez here comes another customer” mind we can everything u say behind the counter. When they come to counter they already have an atittude. Once they get ur information all they say it’s not ready not ready when I got a text saying it was ready. They made come back 5 hours later to tell me again it’s not be processed and give u an atittude then they wonder why people yell at them. This is my last time coming to this pharmacy

The pharmacist literally yelled at me when I very politely asked about the prescription I was picking up. After being yelled at, when I tried to ask for more information about the prescription, she told me to get out of line as someone else was waiting. The entire time of our conversation/ getting yelled at was no longer than 3 or so minutes. I complained to CVS corporate - no response, of course.

The pharmacystaff is amazing. They work extremely hard and endure so much from rude customers. If they could get a raise and an increase in staff, that would go a long way not only for their own mental health but allow then to keep giving such great customer service. They are my favorite pharmacy.

By far the worst customer service you will ever experience. You will not be able to get through to a pharmacist if you call, you will not receive quality customer service when you go in person, and you will not have your time valued. I have never called a company or establishment and failed to get through to a representative or employee. When you go in, they will treat you as though you are bothering them. It is truly unbelievable, how genuinely awful CVS pharmacy treats its customers. There are not enough words to describe the terrible experience this pharmacy will provide. If you have any opportunity to go elsewhere, do not hesitate. When Google lets zero stars be a score, I will return and update.

Honestly would give zero if possible. Currently on hold for 20 minutes, when I called in the automated system said 3 people ahead of me. They kept putting me on hold with out speaking. Service is terrible. They need a whole new pharmacy staff. Changed to CVS.

I’ve tried calling multiple times over last 2 days & wS on hold every time for over 30 min before I had to get back to work. The first time my doc sent the rx electronically tgey said they didn’t receive. After doc sent a second time, I assume it was received because I got a text saying a special order had been placed & id get a txt. That was 2 days ago & Now I cant check because no one answers the phone & I needed this medication Friday after surgery. Tried this location after having the same problem a different Glen Burnie cvs.
