I went in there today and the district manager and corporate was in the store. I made it a point to complain about the self checkout registers not being self checkout because they are worried about theft. If you are so worried about theft hire and armed security guard. Dm told me the registers weren't self check out at five and below I've checked myself out numerous times at other locations. Yeah people won't scan some of their stuff sure, but people also are just going walk out with items too and I'm sure the policy is you can't stop people shoplifting so what's the point. You're company invested 100s of millions of dollars on self checkouts and because glen burnie is a high theft area you can't use them. We'll take them out and hire more cashiers.

I went for a interview for this five and below they said they We're going to contact me before friday which is today for A second interview and then I call them. One said that they're not hiring no more. And then they said that no more interviews until next week. But during my interview I told them. I had 2 kids and no job. But I guess they don't care.
They Have disrespectful management. In rude attitudes.

Great products horrible management.
They have self checkouts and workers. 1 worker just stood there talking instead of checking out customers. 2 self checkouts open with huge lines.
Do not go here expecting good service. Only people working were the stockers. Get rid of those stupid self checkouts and make the employees near the front actually work.
They have Japanese snacks and drinks that you see in anime. That's the only thing good about my shopping experience.

I was here with my son a few days ago when I asked the morning manager for something she was very rude. The whole time I was in the store I could hear the way she talked to her employees which was very unprofessional and used large amount of foul language. This is not the first time I’ve been here and have experience terrible customer service mutilple time In the past I’ve been here and have experience the manager mainly in her phone not paying any attention to her job I believe her name was maegan but FIVE BELOW NEEDS TO DO BETTER.

Added self checkout yet don’t trust anyone to use it . The lady standing there at the one self checkout thing that is open refuses to let you do any of the process yourself and is very very pushy . By far the worst experience i had at 5 below
