Howard Bank , which we loved, was merged/sold to first national bank of PA. We have had nothing positive to say since that time. So many mistakes we made with the merger, accounts were set up wrong, customer service is poor and managers have constantly changed. I would not recommend the Glen Burnie branch at all.

THE WORSE BANK!! DO NOT BANK HERE!!! I received a brochure in the mail $400 after 90 sign up and have direct deposit. It’s been over 9 months and have not received anything. When I called they said they would look into and call me back guess what… no call back… then someone called and asked how I was enjoying banking with them and told him about the last conversation went and he told me he would look into it guess what… no call back. Now I’m closing my account and not willing to put any money into the account and they want to hit me with FEES.. Go figure right. Save yourself time everything is a slow process there… you pay something online it takes nearly a week for it to show coming out of your account. Like I said DONT BANK HERE!

Had an issue at a Glen Burnie branch and wrote this bank off, but then I went to the White Marsh branch and gave them another chance and I'm glad I did the ladies at this branch are fantastic, very friendly and helpful and always extremely busy but still keep a friendly demeanor thru it all.

The mortgage management of this bank is very less transparent. The customer service sucks, wait time of 45-60 minutes. Regular banking from bank locations are good. The online banking via web and mobile app sucks. No option of mortgage statements online. They send paper copies if you don’t save them you are left with no copies. There is no other perks of having account with this bank, credit unions are way better.

I've been here at least 3 times on different occasions. Staff was pleasant. Didn't have to wait for a long period of time. Transactions were smooth.

My experience at this bank has been awful. I opened a business account years ago and two employees that had access to that account were not removed from the account even though requests were made in writing, in person, updated business forms were presented, ect ect. In fact, previous employees whom I was assured were no longer associated with the account STILL continued to receive debit cards for the account. This happened twice until finally in May of last year I was so fed up with former employees getting cards for the account, speaking to staff and managers, taking time off work to resolve this, ect that I went into the bank on May 19th 2021 to the Glen Burnie branch and closed the account withdrawing all of the funds. HOWEVER they still didn't close the freaking account! I as well as the former employees have received debit cards for First National Bank which I can only assume purchased Howard. I am beyond livid. How in the heck after years of struggling with your staff to update my business account correctly could you not even close it when I stopped doing business with you? I would advise anyone with any sense to refrain from doing business with this bank. I'm reporting it to the Better Business Bureau at this point and exploring other options I have to get someone with Authority to make this bank stop giving former employees access to funds that don't exist on an account that should be closed due to their consistent negligence.

The best bank with the best staff. I had the best experience yesterday as I always do at Howard Bank. The day after my license was stolen, I received a call from Ashley. She knows me and the car I drive, so she realized right away someone other than me was trying to cash a check using my ID. She called the police immediately. She even offered to drive a half an hour to put my license in the night drop of my local Howard Bank. Customer care and service to that extent are rare nowadays. Ashley is my hero!

The management of this bank and it’s particular employees are fraudulent and disrespectful to the point of being severely prejudice. I will follow with the particulars of my problems at a later date. The manager Mrs. Melanie Mews has been refusing to explain and investigate my and my mothers claims of fraudulent business practices being accepted and encouraged. My mother has now passed, but she signed under oath an notary present of the actions of these employees of this branch.

Horrible bank!!!They care more about chit chatting with a non customer at the drive thru, as I found out last week, then servicing their customer!I made a special trip up there last week which was about 15 miles for me because a closer branch is permanently closed!!Granted they were soon closing however, i had called them saying I was just a few minutes away which I was and I would be there right at 4 if they could please wait for me.She said they would.So I pull in drive thru line at 3:59 and she already has shades pulled down in window but is on microphone having social hour with a mini van in front of me clearly not doing any banking!So we are blowing horn and everything and car won't move.When we finally get up there she says they are closed.Offered no apology and was extremely rude to me too!!!And of course inside lobby is closed down due to non existent Covid!!!!NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BANK!!

This is the worst bank I have ever used. The staff is completely incompetent. You have to wait two hours in the drive thru to do ten seconds worth of banking and the incompetence gets worse when you finally do get to the window when the staff can`t even make a simple deposit for you into your account. I will be closing all my accounts and my business accounts I have there.

Christine Weaver and Nancy barge and Melaney dues are all wonderful hard working staff who do a great Job. Lisa who I can't remember her last name is wonderful and a hard worker. I was the 1st commercial client with 1st Mariner Bank and I am new to Howard Bank who bought them. I am very impressed with them. Mark McCleskey

Howard bank in my time with this bank there has been several spectacular professional whose counsel and customer service is so genuine and so helpful...Christina Weaver is just that person - True banking professional !
