This is an underutilized Macy's because it's the only anchor left in a mall that is on life support. You will find far less in this Macy's than in other ones in more affluent areas but this Macy's does try. Their customer service counter is very good. Everyone who works here is nice. The place is always clean. Their displays change often. If the mall was doing better this Macy's certainly would benefit.

I visited Macy's in the Marley Station Mall. Rio was the associate she was so kind to me. She's a wonderful person!

I don't know why people pay these crazy prices. Many of the items are priced super high. I ended up stopping in last week because I needed a business pants suit for a promotional test at work. They had a super small selection and everything was priced ridiculously. I ended up finding one suit that I wasn't a huge fan of but ending up purchasing incase I could not find anything else. I knew I would not wear it again due to the style and lack of belt loops but I bought it anyway. I paid $200. Fortunately, a couple days later I revisited JC Penney and was able to purchase TWO full pants suits for LESS than the price of the one. And the two I later found I can wear regularly as I was comfortable with the style. I ended up returning the Macy's suit and the return process was super easy at the customer service desk. All of the employees on both visits were super friendly and helpful. I just feel like the prices here are a lot considering the prices at other comparable stores.

I guess I'm more irritated than anything. I sat outside looking at the website before placing an order. I saw online the merchandise was low in stock so I went ahead and purchased it online. I went into the store and searched around in the jewelry section for almost 10 minutes. No one asked me if I needed help or acknowledged by presence. I waited patiently as other people were being checked out and and may eye contact with the associate behind the counter. I finally just left because I couldn't find what I was looking for. The associate came from behind the counter and started walking away from the jewelry section. She said hello to me and I spoke back. By that time I'd already decided I was going to leave. Just so happened the lady who spoke, was walking the same direction ahead of me. I heard her speak to another customer and then she asked if they needed help. SMH. I'm just irritated. I kept walking towards the door and left. Inside the store, the jewelry section was in disarray. There were so many pieces that were together on one stand and I couldn't tell which pieces actually had value or not. Of course I assume the ones in the case did but there was hardly anyone there to help. The ladies who were there didn't acknowledge me or speak except for the one lady. I'm just venting some frustrations because I am irritated by going into a store, prepared to pay hundreds of dollars for something I want and then don't receive good customer service or acknowledgment.

I'm very disappointed with my Online shopping experience with Macy's. I ordered a knife set on Black Friday. It was my very first Christmas gift I ordered. I knew what I wanted and knew they would be the cheapest on this day. I had no problem placing my order for the Zwilling J.A. Henckels Four Star 12 PCs. Knife Block Set. A week or so later when I was receiving merchandise that I ordered after my first purchase I got concerned there was a problem. I called customer service they reassured me and said they just hadn't shipped yet. More time past a week or so called again. This time the said it had shipped and I just couldn't see it in my computer. After it didn't arrive on the 14th when the customer service person said it would I called again for the 3 time. That customer service person said it would be here on the 17th. On the 17 th I checked my email to call again about where my gift was. When I opened the email it said your order is cancelled and we won't charge you for this item. That was nice if them not to charge me fir something that I was NOT GETTING. Needless to say all other stores are sold out. Except for one which I had to pay 140.00 more for the set. I'm sure Bloomingdales would have had it had for the same price on Black Friday but now I'll know not to shop at Macy's and just go to Bloomingdales. It's understandable that Macy's is not doing well. They lost my business.

They are friendly here. I don’t know why they have not shipped my sons jeans to him though

Shame on you for repeatedly mailing a damaged evening gown to me and failing to damage it out, cheating an unsuspecting customer, and wasting her time. I found an evening gown in the juniors dept. I loved, but they didn't have my size, so I ordered it at customer service. The correct size came quickly and was shipped for free. However, it arrived with a 10 inch split down the right side seam, and the bottom of the cream colored gown was filthy. I have no doubt that a teenager who didn't know there was a zipper down the left side, ripped it trying to get it on. I called customer service and reported the damage, which they tried to blame on UPS, until I pointed out that the bag was not ripped nor punctured. She returned and refunded it over the phone and reordered it for me. Two days later, I received the SAME ripped, dirty dress. This time I first called customer service and reported it after contacting my alterations lady and my local dry cleaners to get pricing to fix it. $15 to sewn up the seam and $10 to dry clean it. I asked if they would reduce the price so I could have it repaired and was told "No." I returned it in person at Marley Station Mall and asked to speak to a supervisor, repeating my story about the two returns of the damaged dress, that I was told it was being damaged out, so that it would not be resold. I asked if she would take enough money off the dress so that I could have it repaired and was told that only $6 could be offered. She said that she would damage out the dress so that it would not be resold. I called customer service back to give them a piece of my mind. They finally transferred me to their resolution team, who in 3 minutes ordered the same dress from the warehouse and reduced the price to cover the gas for the 3 hours of driving time to and from Macy's for the fiasco. Although it has not yet arrived, I am hopeful for a resolution. Five stars for the resolution center and one star for the managers at Macy's on Saturday. Shame on you for repeatedly mailing a damaged dress to me and failing to damage it out, fleecing unsuspecting customers.

The sales rep was extremely pleasant : I honestly believe she lied to me about a particular bag I wanted to purchase. When I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted and asked if I was looking for anything in particular- I stated that I was there to purchase a bag and I gestured my view towards some bags that were against the wall of which styles I was fairly attracted to-I was instantly redirected to bags on the other side of the section I was in- I pointed towards the bags that caught my eye- the sales rep once again gestured that I see if I liked any of the bags on the other end- I continue to shop in the section I preferredSHOCKER they did not have the bags I chose in black! lo & behold one of the bags I chose from the other end was available in black! Then the sales rep thought she was doing me a favor because the bag I chose cost less than the two bags I first chose : well whoopie SH*T! I do not recall asking that she manage my budget!

How can Macy’s open a credit card with my social security number, but not the right name. Do not trust Macy’s with your financial info. They made the mistake, but it takes at least ninety days to resolve. Close your accounts if you want your info safe

Fully expect Macy’s to go bankrupt in the next year: service continues to decline and is an all time low. Canceled my account tonight after 15 years. This was my favorite store at one time. SAD! Customer service is horrible. No one can resolve an issue with my card that keeps canceling my orders online. I even called after my last order to confirm it went through... agent confirmed yes a week ago. Just learned it didn’t go through again (5th order you canceled for no reason). I’m done. Canceled the account.

Not a big surprise Macy's is suffering. Took a 10 dollar gift card to the store. Tried to use it. Clerk couldn't figure it out but somehow managed to invalidate it in the process. Then sent me upstairs to try another register. They couldn't figure it out so sent me out with unsolved, invalidated gift card. In the age of amazon, the only edge these stores have is customer service. Sure felt like they didn't even try to fix the problem and have no interest in customer service. Time to cancel the Macy's card and stick with amazon. Their overseas customer service beats face to face in Macy's.
