Rented a pressure washer from them that didn't work. Even with the strongest tip attached, we weren't able to get enough pressure to actually do anything. It was no more pressure than a garden hose with a regular spray nozzle. When my husband returned it the next day, they charged us full price for defective equipment, saying that we should have brought it back sooner or called. I didn't take it back the same evening because it's a bit of a drive to the store and I didn't have time, and I knew my husband would be in the area the next morning.Additionally, they were very dismissive of our reports that it didn't work; the employee looked at the nozzle and said "it looks ok." They also told us that it wasn't their problem if we didn't know how to use the equipment, which was very belittling. My husband is pretty good with tools, and we tried multiple different nozzle tips, removing and reattaching them, and all of them leaked around the nozzle. The employees never tried hooking the pressure washer up to water and checking what we were talking about with the leak. Another employee even mentioned that a lot of people had been reporting trouble with the pressure washers, but it seems like nobody ever tested them. It seems like this rental shop is knowingly renting ineffective equipment and charging customers full price for tools that don't actually work! We had to borrow another pressure washer to actually do the job, because the one we rented was useless. I will never rent from this shop again.

Good people and their service. Plenty of tools. For all kinds of work. Just one quirk. To rent a tool for 4 hrs is a bad policy, unless then purpose is to make that buck. Figure 30...59 min to home, mother the same back, implies 2 hrs to actually work. Nailing floors. Drilling foundation or such heavy weight work - simply results in 'over-paying' because you missed your return timestamp by 1 hr.My suggestion.. 1/2 day or whole day rental. Whether you rent at 8AM or 3 OM, back in that night= 1/2 day rate.... 24 hrs for the whole day.. This leaves a customer feeling they get a good deal and HD gets a happy... returning... customer.

The pro that I selected from their suggested list robbed me of over $13,000 and then abandoned the job. I have left text messages with the customer service department and have not received any call backs. While the contractors were working on the deck no one from Home Depot checked in on them. It has been six months and there has been no clear communication from the the abandoned contractors or anyone from Home Depot. Meanwhile, I had to hire another contractor to correct mistakes and complete the job. I also had to take out another loan in order to get the deck completed. I am now worried about how to finance a lawyer to work on this case. My rating is zero, because of the financial mess, and none communication this company and their contractors have done to me!

Purchased an air compressor and it could not keep up with my pneumatic tools so I took it back. Shane O., assistant manager, condescendingly stated that although it was not in one of the 5 categories for exceptions to the 90 day return policy, they could not refund my purchase and then proceeded to state that Home Depot goes what is on the bottom of your receipt. Since I purchased online and they sell it in the store and within the 90 day period, a refund to my credit card should have taken place. Funny thing is, the email receipt I received for the replacement air compressor referred to the refund policy posted online. They even called corporate. Two lessons here for anyone buying a big ticket item, run it thru its paces as soon as you get it, because if you don't, Shane will be waiting for you, he will arbitrarily change the return policy and talk to you like you are an idiot. Per Shane, up to 90 day return policy and go by what is on the receipt bottom which is the 90 return policy. POOR Customer Service and a member of management who feels he can arbitrarily alter the corporate return policy. If Lowes has what you need, go there. Their return policy is honored at all their stores and I do not work for either company.

I worked for this company for 11yrs. Customer service now is horrible! I went to this location to purchase a drill. I mentioned to the associate when it was. The OH read 3. I showed him that there was one box within the overhead. He went for the ladder went for the product but never came down with it. The associate then proceeded to search for this drill for another 10mins after I explained to him where it was located. The associate then came off the ladder and relocated it and went about his business. I really couldn't believe that just happened. So I went for my own ladder and retrieved the tool myself. I don't like to leave reviews that can potentially put people and their job in jeopardy but this man deserves to be unemployed. Customer service within this location sucks!

I am writing this because I have never been so put off in my business career as I was today dealing with the Home Depot on E. Ordnance Rd. in Glen Burnie, Md. I am on the road for my job and hence do not sit by a computer or try to look at my phone while driving. I needed help in getting pricing for plywood and after going through all of the specs with the customer service person, he asked if he could put me on hold. Well, after sitting on hold for an eternity it became apparent that I was not going to be helped. I called back and asked to speak to the store manage and again was put on hold. Maybe they are understaffed but this is not the way to conduct a business. If I had wanted to go to the computer to check this out I could't and even if I could I wanted live confirmation that they had this lumber in the store because I needed it on a job site quickly. I would go anywhere but here for any building/construction needs because this was a waste of time and extremely annoying and they don't seem to give a damn.

Went there 4 times over the last week and a half and every time you go to the store you have to hunt for flat carts. I suggest they order about 10 so that they can keep up. The store is losing business due to this issue.

Placed an order that was supposed to be delivered on the 18th of this month, finally got it today after them lying saying they tried to reliever it twice to my house. I have ring cameras and no one was ever at my home. So my husband went to the store to complain and they finally delivered it today. If by delivery you call dumping my item (exterior French doors) at the end of my yard at my sidewalk delivery. No one rang my doorbell or called and said they were there or anything. So disappointed as I’ve been a very loyal customer but not anymore.

This is a WARNING for anyone buying wood decking from Home Depot. Home Depot does not back up the so-called 30-year Guarantee. Thus leaving anyone with thousand in repair costs!!! What a DOG of a company.

The staff at the Catonsville MD store behave like TSA agents. The cashier yelled "Open the box!" when I tried to buy a tool box there. If you enjoy being treated like a criminal, this is the store for you. Otherwise, check out Lowes or Harbor Freight.

The staff was more concerned about talking about Christmas gifts than helping me find the correct product we had been looking for. I asked for help and it felt like I was interrupting there conversations. Management needs to really evaluate how they monitor their employees better.

I was not satisfied because I called the rental and they said they had a truck available. When I showed up 45 minutes later somebody was signing the paperwork and I was unable to get the vehicle. I had to put the load off until the next day which is Saturday I hope they have a truck available when I get there Saturday they will not let you reserve one!

I wish I had checked on here before going to this Home Depot today. Over the weekend, I went to a closer one to my newly purchased home for a washer and dryer set, but they didn't quite have what I was looking for. So we thought we'd check this one out having nearly always had positive experiences at Home Depots. Well, today that changed, and it's a shame because John, the salesman that helped me, did a fantastic job of explaining the benefits of the model he guided me towards, clear reasoning for it, explained the delivery process very thoroughly and even mentioned the sales and military discount I was eligible for. Long story short despite a lengthy but patient process to get to the register, once we did make it there, the orders wouldn't ring up. Apparently, they were flagged for management since they didn't want to consider my two appliance orders as TWO SEPARATE ORDERS despite both coming on significantly separate dates. The manager shouted on the phone "it's not happening," when they called back to him, and then later, once one discount was removed but it still wouldn't go through, he came out later and removed another portion of the discount. NOT A WORD OF EXPLANATION to me as to why, but he came out to the register, promptly tacked on another $110 to my already $1,600-plus dollar cost and walked away. Pretty crappy leadership and customer service to me, and he didn't really explain much to my salesman or the young lady at the register assisting me through his clear annoyance. So he left them holding the bag just staring at me and apologizing profusely. What a poor showing after a great sales experience, and with no reasoning, I'm left to wonder why he refused my discounts when the other associates repeatedly told me "this can be done" and "it has been done before." Just leads me to never set foot in that Home Depot again. And in my disgust, I disregarded the handful of other items I needed before I left the store. I hope LOWES treats me better when I make future purchases which are sure to come. And God forbid my orders not come on time or have a problem. Talk about an unpleasant conversation that will definitely happen. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOME DEPOT. Great sales people, but the management is clearly GARBAGE. Business is about the customer, and if you're management doesn't know this, get new leaders. I stand by every single word of this any day of the week, twice on Sundays and three time today because this is when it happened.
