I truly have to thank this clinic and their staff from the bottom of my heart. They squeezed me in for an emergency visit day of despite being fully booked. I came in with my cat a sleep deprived crying wired mess and left feeling so much better. The prices were very affordable for a student like me and everyone was so kind. I don't care that it's a 30+ minute drive away, this is my new clinic. If I had the money to pay them full price I would because they're good people.”

“Banfield is absolutely the best primary veterinary care I have ever had. The entire veterinary team/staff go above and beyond for their clients. People seem to forget that this is like going to your primary care doctor not an emergency room and services can add up (emergency services here are limited just like if you had a heart attack at your PCP) and some are not cheap but neither is human medicine if you had to pay for every service out of pocket) It seems that some people come here and expect the providers to have MRI imagining in their eyes. Having a pet costs money it’ll never be cheap. Duh. These doctors literally went to school their entire lives to take care of our animals. The wellness plan is Lit but it ain’t insurance it is a financed package of services which is super helpful to help keep your pet healthy and assess for health concerns. Figure it out people! Ugh, love you Banfield Southdale! You guys make us feel safe!”

“Today, we unfortunately had to put our 12-year-old boxer down. It’s an incredibly tough time, and I can’t express enough how grateful I am that this was our veterinary office.

My appointment today was at 3 p.m., and I assume from our earlier phone call they knew how emotional this would be for us. They had us come through a different entrance so that when I carried Roxi in, we were able to go straight back to a private comfort room. From the very beginning, the vet tech, doctor, and front desk staff made sure nothing came as a surprise. They walked us through everything step by step and were extremely patient, never rushing us for a moment.

One thing I appreciated more than I can say was that they handled all of the paperwork ahead of time. When everything was done, we were able to walk directly outside to our car instead of sitting in a waiting room. To be honest, we weren’t in any state to talk to anyone, and that level of thoughtfulness meant the world to us. They also made sure we knew—repeatedly—that we were in no rush and could stay with Roxi as long as we needed. No one should ever feel rushed when saying goodbye to a loved one, and they made sure we never did. I greatly appreciated the Doctor doing an exam prior, it’s comforting hearing from a professional that I was making the right decision.

We chose cremation for Roxi, and they already had that process thoughtfully set up for us as well—something I hadn’t even thought about in advance. Every detail was handled with compassion and care.

These are amazing people doing a job that families dread, and I’m so thankful we trusted them to give our Roxi peace. I plan to call tomorrow to personally thank them again for everything they did for us This memory will stick with us forever, and I’m truly grateful this’s where we went.”
