Glen Echo Park Aquarium is a small but engaging place that showcases the marine life of the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers. They love to interact with guests, especially in the touch tank, answering questions and sharing information. The aquarium is a great spot for children and adults alike, offering hands-on experiences and educational fun. Visitors can enjoy a well-organized visit with timed entry, and the aquarium hosts birthday parties, field trips, and scouts. Parking is free and located off Oxford Rd. Despite its small size, the aquarium provides an excellent opportunity to learn about local aquatic life, making it a fun and informative outing for curious outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.
Why did we wait so long!?! Wonderful, intimate experience. The founder and 2 young women working the day we visited were engaging, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We will be back!

All the staff were so incredible but Mickey is an encyclopedia and it was such a gift to have a full guided tour with her :) such a warm and knowledgeable human and made our tour infinitely better! Such a wonderful selection of aquatic life too! loved exploring this place, a gem.
