This little bakery sits at the NPS Glen Echo Park site. It features drinks, sandwiches, and, of course, baked goods. I went with a pumpkin cookie and a lemon drop cookie - both amazing. Cost was $3 per cookie, so not the cheapest, but the quality was good and the location was magic. I was there at around 3, so there was not a lot of choices, but, again - those cookies were really good.

Cold food. Wouldn’t warm it. Coffee half full. One and done on this place.

Didn't actually buy anything but once when I was chilling at the park I decided to go in to check it out and maybe buy some pastries. At the front desk there was this grumpy looking dude that just stared at me. I felt super awkward and left.

This is a cute little cafe/bakery in the park that is located near the playground and picnic area. We popped in a little later in the day, so selection was limited. We ended up getting some brownies to top off our earlier picnic lunch, and they were pretty tasty though we were told they had not been baked same day. It's nice that they have the option available in Glen Echo.

Visited the Glen Echo Park Praline bakery shop on a weekend. The pistachio chocolate croissant was great! Came back on a weekday during February and their sign is posted as open Sat. 10-4 and Sun. 10-3.

Very sad and disappoint place. There is absolutely nothing to buy. Empty shelves and broken coffee maker. Missed opportunity in such a great location.

I’ve been here twice— the first time, they had almost nothing offered on the menu and didn’t even have a knife to cut the sandwiches in half for us. The second time (today) there were teenagers working there and once again, no ice cream and a nearly empty pastry case. The sodas were $3… this place has an opportunity to really make some people happy and make some money doing it but… they’re just opting out. Free advice: they should move this to the candy shop space right by the entrance, it’ll get more attention.

This has been our favorite bakery for years. Through the pandemic they offered curbside and phone orders that were a huge help. Definitely try the apple-walnut turnovers and the French onion soup.

I had no experience because after making a reservation on Resy for 2:45 and arriving at 2:45 on Valentine's Day, my husband and I were first ignored on the lower level and then rudely turned away upstairs, stating that the restaurant was closed and my reservation was at 2:15. Assuming, it was changed by the Resy to 2:15, why would you close a restaurant 15min after the last reservation. Bottom line is the staff was extremely rude and on Valentine's Day no less. They won't have to worry about us patronizing or recommending their establishment in the future.

Good French cuisine, not exceptional. Okay service. Wonderful pastries. Excellent bakery when you can buy goodies to take home.

This is hard to find it's in Glen Echo Park. It's behind the merry-go-round so you must really look for it. Good croissants excellent even. Selection was limited but sandwiches looked really tasty. Coffee was good but served from a pump dispenser.More business would make for more selection it at this location. For now it's limited availability but it's very tasty.
