I’m greatly disappointed. Given my past experiences with other tire places, I decided to trust Costco’s tire team with my car, thinking, “I’ve been a loyal member for years—this should be smooth.”
I made a 4:00 PM appointment, and as I tried to head directly to the tire center, I was stopped by a receipt clerk and told to walk all the way around the building. That small interaction was frustrating, but I brushed it off and kept moving.
When I got to the tire center, there was a line. No problem, I figured since I already entered all my car info (year, make, model) online, checking in would be quick. I politely asked the attendant how to check in for online appointments, and he told me to just get in line. Cool.
It’s now 15 minutes past my appointment time. I get to the counter and the attendant starts asking me for all the same information I had already submitted online. Not to confirm, he just didn’t have it. It felt like everything I did in advance meant nothing. Frustrated but composed, I handed over my keys and asked when I should come back. “5:15,” he said.
Fast forward: I get a call around 5:35 PM, an hour and 20 minutes later. Costco tells me they can’t work on my car due to issues outside their scope, and I respect that. But what I don’t respect is having to wait that long just to be told nothing could be done. No apology, no heads-up, not even a “Sorry, we’re backed up.” Just silence and delay.
I left feeling completely disregarded. As a loyal member, I expected better communication and care. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to trust Costco Tires again

If you walk into the tire center, be prepared to wait a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY. VERY LONG TIME JUST TO BE SEEN. I came in as the 2nd person in line and have been standing here for 20 minutes. Still waiting. Most of the time, no one was even at the desk. And when the one guy is there, he doesn't say anything. Like I'll be with you momentarily sir, or something. This isn't my 1st experience here but it will be my last.

Costco Tires at Woodmore installed tires that did not match the serial number. They also used the wrong membership number to register the install. Additionally, they installed them incorrectly where a sidewall blew and dented my rim. I had to go to another Costco tire center for full confidence that my warranty was covered and this would be rectified. Do not make appointments at Costco Tires Woodmore, they will do almost everything incorrectly.

I am very dissatisfied with the customer service that my husband received on yesterday. He went in to get a tire repaired and Marcus K was very nonchalant, unprofessional, and very apathetic. From the moment he arrived he was not treated well and with the appropriate manners a customer should be greeted with. I will definitely be reaching out to the corporate office to let them know the horrible customer service he received, and we will take our business to a different location. Situations of this caliber make you not even care to do business with this Cotsco store at all. I highly recommend that he is properly trained and educated on what good customer service is.

Only complaint is the lines can get very long and move very slow but everyone is buying in bulk so it makes sense. I love coscto, buy everything in bulk it lasts FOREVER unless you're throwing a party. You can get clothes, a canoe, a a couch and get a cheap bite to eat on the way out.

I stopped by to pick up a few things for the house. The bulk toilet paper. paper towels, laundry detergent, and bottled water are always a great bargain. On my way out of the store, I stopped by the food court and grabbed a quick bite to eat. The $1.50 hotdog and soda and the berry smoothie are quick bites.

The Glenarden Costco can be quite chaotic, and getting in and out can take some time as it's part of the shopping center. As other Costcos, they offer appliances, auto/tires, items for babies and kids, clothing, handbags, computers/printers, electronics, furniture, hardware, health and beauty products, home/decor items, jewelry/watches, office products, patio/outdoor items, items for pets, and travel/luggage items. The self-checkout line does move along, as there's a staff member who directs the traffic; they also have their scanner ready, so you can quickly pay and go.We were able to grab some snacks and toiletries; I was excited to see that they still carried a particular brand of shampoo that seemed to be out-of-stock or no longer available at other stores.+self-checkout line moves along+difficulty getting in and out of parking

It's 2023. There is no reason to sell me 22 tires. If I wasn't in need, I would have returned them. Trash business.

Utter chaos, I mean, this location falls short due to some experiences with employees and a ton off unorganized items. You're literally trying to find a needle in a haystack here, which isn't typical of the DC location oF Costco. Looks like I'll have to stick to where I know.

It’s always long line even with appointments! Waiting time is outrageous and most likely short staff.

My father was hounded by the self check-out attendant regarding his membership card. They take identity verification too far when all we, as patrons, want to do is shop. It's never that serious because at the end of the day we decided not to shop even after he showed ID because of how they didn't earn our dollars. Not sure if it's just this location or Costco as a whole but I'm glad I'm a Sam's Club member.
