Food was good and service was warm and friendly. It took an oddly long time for the food to arrive, however. ~30 minutes for a panini and a chicken and waffle, even though the place was nearly empty.

The food & atmosphere provide for a memorable experience. The staff was sufficient, no long waits. The prices seemed good for my overall experience. I definitely recommend if you are in the area or want a drive to destination.

We had a lovely lunch at this cafe. We appreciated being able to use the EV charger for our vehicle. There are 2 EV chargers on the right side of the building, one for Tesla’s and one universal. The atmosphere was so peaceful and I enjoyed the wine flight.Only caution is that if you prefer your food to be plain, there aren’t many options so check the menu before you come. The food was very tasty but all the selections were fancy.

We went to a one day Thanksgiving Eve Tapas dinner. The food was very good and the atmosphere was beautiful sitting in front of the fireplace. Our server got a bit sidetracked at times but was pleasant enough.

Very weird place. It seems to take itself a bit too seriously. The water is served warm. For those that have not traveled outside of this country, warm beverages are the norm. Foreigners look at us like swine because we ask for ice. That is the vibe I believe these folks are going for. The food is expensive for no apparent reason. The taste and presentation suggest nothing that would justify the price other than the weird European atmosphere they are trying to cultivate. Maybe geared toward tourists visiting the artisan village, but remember folks…you’re 200 meters from a sewage treatment plant while dining here. Don’t take yourself too serious.

Stopped in on a Saturday around 12pm for brunch. I was seated immediately and brought water and a menu. I ordered a coffee and the chicken and waffles. My server was pleasant and attentive. The chicken and waffles was pretty good! The chicken was perfectly crisp, as was the waffle. The waffle was slightly sweet and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. I didn't love the gravy that was on top, unfortunately. The flavor just wasn't what I was expecting. The coffee was good! I love Rise Up. The decor was beautiful. The space is very well lit and there are exposed beams and string lights all over. The bathroom was MOSTLY clean. The toilet seat was up when I came in (it's unisex) and it was not clean.. There was plenty of soap and paper towels, though. I'd definitely come by again to enjoy the beautiful outside seating during warmer weather.

We had a great lunch on our way to DC. Cute little shops to stop at and the food was good. The kimchi rueben was a surprise, and the pork and cheese sandwich was filling Our server Christine was a delight.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Stopped here driving back to DC from Deep Creek and it was the perfect lunch place. The food was phenomenal and our waitress Christine was super nice.

A gem of the Maryland Mountains. My family and I visited for a late lunch. Our waitress took wonderful care of us. The Asagio cheese dip started our meal, which was universally loved. There was a very creative menu that delighted both meat eaters and our vegetarians. I have to say I don't like tomatoes soup, but I tried some of my son's and I thought it tasted incredible. The pumpkin waffle chicken wrap was an unexpected delight. There were two options for dessert; a really creamy pumpkin cheesecake and a brownie ala mode that had a flavor with a hint of coffee. We can't wait to get out there again.

It has been 5 1/2 years since our last visit to the Cornucopia Cafe. We sadly live too far away. This time we were able to fully enjoy the outdoor seating (snowing last time). Really incredible place.
