I am big on customer service and being helpful to customers especially when you come to an auto store. I went to this location today and talked to a worker up front. I expressed I have never changed a battery on my key fob before and don't know where to start. I was told sorry I can't help. You need to read your owners manual. So I left. Needless to say I went across the street to Autozone and received all the info on what to do and was even directed to the website to figure out which battery to purchase. I won't be returning to this advance auto parts again.

Terrible service, supposedly the general manager cannot help me with a refund question, something that is a real shame because boy in the morning and they tell me if I am going to leave at the store and they tell me no and I call before going to learn my time and no you can save service

I was happy to find out that they have the tool to test your alternator still in your car, and the fluid I needed was on sale. The employee that helped me was friendly and thorough, so I'll be back. Auto zone has free testing, but the location near me can only test it in the store.

shout out to the lady in the grey shirt. i saw a couple other people in black so idk if it makes a difference to know who i’m talking about. but i purchased a battery at another store that couldn’t get the battery out. 3 people tried at another store. i guess they just didn’t know how. i came to landover to meet a mechanic close to my house to have him do it but i stopped at this store just to see if they could do it so i wouldn’t have to pay someone. it took her 5 minutes! she showed me how to clean it and what posts to take off and put back on first and the best way to pull the battery out since it sits at a awkward position. i tried to give her a tip and she just smiled and told me no and to bless someone else. i don’t remember her name but she’s awesome. i’ll shop here from now on. thank you miss.

The prices for stuff for your cars are very expensive! Coolant for your car running you between $15to$22dollars , windshield wiper fluid is between 12-16 $ a bottle , for you to get discount you have to order on line that way you get a discount
