This was the first time I've had a company pack and move my things and would absolutely do so again. There were a couple items broken in transit, but the moving crew gave me all the information I needed to submit a claim and they were helpful in getting my furniture set up.”

“Found Bookstore Movers based on some Reddit reviews so decided to request a quote online. They got back to me the same morning via email which was crazy fast. And that experience was consistent every time I emailed them moving forward - amazing customer service. We got James, John, and Myree for our move and we couldn't have been happier. They were very quick and efficient, and overall very friendly people! All of our boxes were out the door in less than 20 minutes (about 15 boxes). The furniture took longer but that's to be expected, especially since they took the time to wrap everything up in moving blankets which was awesome! They chatted with us while they moved our stuff (but they didn't get side tracked) and were pretty fun to talk to. It was about $800+tip for an apartment to apartment move within Arlington. I don't know if that's a great value or not as I've only hired movers twice, but I do know my stuff arrived undamaged and they made the move pleasant and stress-free so for me it was well worth it. Will definitely be hiring them for my next move!”

“I am very pleased with the service I received from Mashav this week. They arrived promptly and immediately set to work. Mine was a one bedroom apartment requiring, for example, disassembly and reassembly of my bed and my sofa, wrapping and protecting an 65" and 46" flatscreen TV, and moving of a super heavy armoire. Loading was done by three guys in two hours. Delivery took about the same amount of time. Boxes were labeled by room, and all were placed where indicated. The total time estimate was accurate, and so the charges were as expected. Nothing was lost or broken. I recommend Mashav without reservation.”

“Our task was a little complicated; we had bought a platform queen size bed frame. When it was delivered, we found that the headboard was bigger than our stairwell. The delivery people could not figure out how to get it up so we contacted several moving companies in the hopes of finding someone. David at TPC Transportation came through for us. He rented a lift and brought it in through the upstairs window over the front porch. He and his partner did an exceptional job, going out of their way to contact several rental companies before finding a reasonable one. They wrapped the headboard so there was no damage and removed and put the windows back for us. We would highly recommend them for any move, but especially for those ones that need inventive solutions. They did great.”

“HUSTLE + PROBLEM SOLVING = GREAT MOVEDistrict Relocators moved the (many and varied) remaining items from my family home in Silver Spring to my partially furnished, small, row house in NE DC.There were large bookcases, dressers, a sofa, large framed pictures and mirrors, boxes and boxes of books. Clothes.I was told 5 guys and a truck could do it in 3 hours.I was skeptical. Tony assured me- more than once - that it would happen. Relax. So, I did.Dathan, the foreman, and his team worked hard, but smart. They clearly work together often; it was really something to watch. Two of the team disassembled a futon in minutes to fit up my twisty staircase. No charge!In all, I was amazed how they fit these things into and around the little spaces in my house.One more thing. Another DR employee was driving by my house and stopped by to help!! I think that says a lot about this District Relocators.Everyone was super courteous and professional, also, nicely low key.It was a no stress move! “Used the storage facility for just under a year. Everyone was helpful and kind whenever I had a question on billing or the doors stopped working again. Only 2 complaints are that they made me buy another puck style lock because the identical one I had wasn't UHAUL branded, and the loading area front door mechanism and keypad lock was always breaking, sometimes making loading in/out difficult. If they fix that, it's 5 stars. I'll be using them for truck rental, trailer hitch and more.”
