True Story... Capital One stole my money. They lost my direct deposit in June '22. I called over and over asking them to find it. They finally find it January '23. They put it someone else's account, give me a trace number, but won't credit my account because the person they gave my money to, withdrew it and they say they can't recover it. They put it in the wrong account, their customer took it, and all they will tell me is "sorry". Oh, they did say I should write a letter... write a letter to the president of the company and hope they decide to give me my money. Like I said, this is a true story.

The worst customer service ever! I went there to resolve an issue, but a lady called ANA encouraged me to close my account and leave for ever because of her , she treated me as an criminal!! She put me in a room she did not introduce her self, she didn't have any badge she was wearing jeans that showing her stomach. she didn't take a seat to talk. Kept standing and asking me questions as if I was in a police station, when Iasked her who she was ? She said I am not responding until you answer me ?? so , I decided to take my business somewhere else

This is the worst branch ever. Every single time I come here, the bank is closed to business & they tell everyone to go to the drive thru. Not all banking transactions can be done that way. Just close this branch down.

I wish if I can give ZERO for this location. This was a nice location before few years ago. But now specially NO MANAGER. Today I went to this branch and on the counter Teller Jay was so rude and unprofessional and when I ask him wants to talk the Manager he said I am the manager. Then after arguing he said there is a manager in the cabin let me talk to him and then you can talk to him. And that one also Hispanic guy. He went in side and talk to him something and came out saying that he is in the meeting right now and come back after 30 minutes. I use to go this branch since last more than 12 years but I have never seen such a rude staff that they have now.

I've literally never given a review like this in my whole life, I'm extremely laid back and nothing bothers me - but today I felt compelled to speak out when I got home.On 8/25/2020 I had the worst banking experience of my life at this 6226 Greenbelt Road - Beltway Plaza location. I went into the establishment, saw about 6 people in line so decided to just go through the drive-through teller instead (for social distancing purposes). What proceeded to follow was a 50 minute wait to deposit a single check.Upon the first conversation I was told there were only 3 people ahead of me and it wouldn't be long, but after I paged them 35 minutes into my wait and told them I needed to leave, they assured me I was next and should wait. I'm a very patient person, but it was clear at that point that they didn't like the fact that I had paged them again (I could tell by the tone), and everything was delayed further. I had my toddler falling asleep in the car that needed to be home for a nap and I had work to get back to.The entire rest of the time I contemplated going back inside the bank, because my ID and check were somewhere in limbo - and I really needed to leave. They didn't even answer my next page. The thought of having to figure it out inside - while also having my baby falling asleep made it a no-go. Finally they answered a call, a new person picked up and my deposit slip and ID were instantly sent back to me. Not a coincidence on that timing, I was being blatantly ignored by the end. I literally became a hostage to the fact that they had all of my documentation mentioned above, and yet I couldn't go anywhere.Yes I understand I could have done easier forms of deposits, or even waited in line again - but at that point I had already sent my ID and check in the tube, my 40 minute follow-up calls were ignored, and I couldn't even go back inside as I explained. So I'm now contemplating closing that bank account entirely and taking business elsewhere, even when primarily just doing online interactions, that's how frustrated I am. I've been a customer for almost 20 years (even pre-Capital One, before Chevy Chase bank was bought out by them), and I've never had an experience as dreadful as this.So there you have it folks, a 50 minute check deposit. But it's not actually the company's fault here, it's this specific location. I urge you having just experienced this - if you're a Capital One member I'd recommend going elsewhere like the other Capital One just a mile or 2 down the road. I'll never visit this establishment again.

This.bank is the worse the staff and managers are rude, super slow and take every chance they get to turn you away and deny you service. I went to go make a cash payment onto my credit bill, and because I had a temporary ID ( just moved to the area) and am Waiting on the real one I could not give them cash to pay my bill! What if my bill was due today? Then I'd be late and be charged a late fee which would be insane because I literally had the money right there! This is the worst branch with the worst service ever! And to make matters worse I called the 1-800 number spoke To a supervisor only to be told " we can't help you we don't have anything to do with what the branches do" unbelievable! TD Bank WOULD NEVERRRRRRRRRR LITERALLY NO ONE GET A CAPITAL ONE ANYTHING I WOULDN'T EVEN TRUST A TISSUE FROM THERE

I went to this location for the first time and one specific young Hispanic female working as a teller made it one of the worst experiences I've ever had. She was very unprofessional, zero customer service skills. It was unbelievable that she was holding a lengthy and very personal conversation with a customer at her window. When I mentioned that customers are waiting she made faces and became combative. Don't know why this person was hired to represent the excellent service Capital One is known for. Thankfully another teller working on the floor intervened and provided me with as assistance.
