I placed a large yarn order (30 skeins) back in November. After waiting two weeks, no one thought to reach out to let me know that there was an issue. I had to initiate an email to ask what the problem was. No one responded. I simply got a refund so when only part of it shipped they debit my account for that amount. Today, another 2 weeks, I am receiving the second part of my order and IT'S NOT WHAT I ORDERED!!!! I ORDERED BIG TWIST YARN AND THEY HAVE SENT ME RED HEART. Anyone that knows yarn knows that Red Heart is no substitute for Big Twist and there is a reason I wanted Big Twist. Now, I have to go to the store and buy the Big Twist yarn I ordered in the first place. Joann, you're trash for this. There is a reason I did an online order. Now I can't finish my customers coat and get it to her this weekend because I have to take time out to go into the store and purchase yarn that I already paid for.

They have NO customer service. I have tried going to a store; emailing; calling; texting. No one responds. The store said they could not assist with a seeing machine purchase that arrived damaged. Do NOT buy anything expensive from them. It's a HORRIBLE company.

It's 10:06am on a Saturday. We're all outside the store waiting for it to open. The Joann website says this store opens at 9am. The woman working (the only person there) opened the store about a minute later. Three stars because my online order was ready and they had what I needed. They need more staff - she wasn't able to open the cutting counter because there's no one to run it.

Placed an online order because it said it would be ready same day. 2 items- small, easy order. Called around 6 because I was supposed to receive an email by 5 that my order was ready. Person on the phone seemed to have no idea there was an online order. After minutes on hold I was told they would “probably” have it ready tomorrow. I asked them to cancel it because I needed it today. I drove over to pick the items off the shelf myself and found at 7:15 they were closed, when online it says they close at 8. I’d call before going just in case they decide to print new hours like they must have done recently. I left and went to Michael’s to get what I needed.

Great location, I can knock a lot of errands out at this plaza. Not the largest Joanns but they have a good stock of crafting essentials I need. The staff are always friendly. The problem is the inconsistent hours. It feels like every week I go the sign at the front has different hours posted and online is never right. I try to submit updates for the most recent hours every time I go, but Google says it's still reviewing them. I've gone a few times only to find they've closed an hour earlier than normal. Most recently I walked in to an announcement they were closing earlier than posted as well. I'm not sure what's going on with this store but I'm worried it will close soon and the other locations are quite far for me.

The store closes at 7:00 pm. Per the staff pulling down the rolling gate at 7:25 pm, "corporate is aware of incorrectly posted hours. You'll have to come back."

It's hit or miss on staff knowledge. When the staff is knowledgable, they're very knowledgable; but when the staff isn't, they aren't. The store is organized, if messy. I highly recommend the store in columbia, md over this one

Messy. Limited stock. Staff standing around talking, no one at the cutting counter that had a line. A customer complained that the website said they opened at 11. It opened at 12. The manager said "well Im new to the store and don't have control over the Internet."

The manager at this Greenbelt location is not customer service friendly , quite mean. I've had several bad experiences here and she doesn't seem to care to much about the customer. I choose not to shop at this location every again if I can help it.

While the employees were kind and helpful, they are really at a disadvantage at this location. Half of the overhead lights are out and shelves are barebones. Their cotton fabric selection is really tiny and in general the whole place desperately needs a facelift.

First, I see all the complaints from customers who cannot add. Buy 3 and get 2 free...total price less 2/5ths IS buy 3 get 2. Please do the math. You pay the total price for 3 items, but you get 5. It is easier to program a computer to discount rather than zero a price. These stores are budgeted for hours based on sales. You can thank theft and petty bad reviews for less employees to wait on you. These stores have excellent restocking protocols, based on sales. If products are stolen, the computer has no idea that product is gone until that section is audited. ASK AN ASSOCIATE, if you cannot find something, and they can report zero stock and it will get ordered. Please do not go on a lunch break to get fabric cut, then complain when you run out of time. Ask another customer to swap numbers with you for the cutting counter. Most will be willing to let you go ahead. Above all, let us ALL remember the golden rule...treat others as you would like to be treated. These are employees...not servants. Treat them with kindness and respect, and you just MIGHT get the same returned.

The staff aren’t that friendly or helpful, and the early closing hours suck! Web says they close at 8 pm got there they closed the store at 6pm. Nice fabrics though.

The products in the store aren't the problem, but the store's management; every time I've gone when I actually need something, it’s closed, but online it says open as it doesn’t address its opening and closing times online.
