Would give it -100 stars if I could. I walked up to the counter after not being called on after minutes standing there despite being the only person at the post office and having this clerk not have anyone she was helping. I walked up and greeted the clerk (#10 per my receipt) with a hello and did not get a greeting. I waited and she then said hello and I proceeded to speak and she rudely said “I SAID HELLO” and I was taken aback. I told her I had greeted her as well at the beginning and if she not heard me. Silence. The other clerk next to her was starting to laughing and smirk.
She then proceeded to just sit there with her arms crossed and didn’t say a word. I answered yes to the prompt of being treated good because she was starring at the screen. I only looked at the screen because she was starring at it. Didn’t instruct me to it at all. Then she asked me if I wanted a receipt and tossed it at me. She then greeted the other customer behind me nicely. If you don’t want to work there, THEN DON’T!!!

Horrible customer service. Went there to drop off a package since I was nearby at the Safeway, This tall grey haired man was the only person there. He spent way too much time yapping and telling stories to the customer at the counter and kept announcing that his coworker hadn't returned from lunch and he was doing the best he could talking and trying to type one key every 3 seconds. Guy standing in front of me gets into with him regarding a delayed key replacement process and the this guy threatenes to call the police on him unless he moved out the line. Then I'm next, I had everything printed and boxed, labels in hand and he rudely tells me I need to purchase a whole roll of my own tape for $4...(only needed a strip) told me to step out of line buy the tape and get back in line. Definitely not the level of service I get from College Park or Riverdale locations....I just took my package to the Riverdale where they have a better attitudes....and help with tape.

This Post Office is the absolute worst. I do not understand how this organization can lose your packages, confess to losing packages and still not be held responsible for their actions. If private corporations are held to a standard, why not USPS? When asked for a number to escalate the situation, since the people working at this location seem to be at the lowest tier, they give you a fake phone number. The people that work here are rude beyond belief. Every single one of them.

Dropped off our wedding invitations here and had a good experience. The postal worker confirmed we had the right stamps and got them mailed quickly, even after dealing with a difficult customer right before us. Appreciated their professionalism and help!

July 2025- Review of Ms. Tillery, Postmaster at the Greenbelt Post Office:
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Ms.. Tillery at the Greenbelt Post Office. Despite providing a tracking number that confirmed my package was delivered and placed in my mailbox, my mail was stolen multiple times. It appears that Ms. Tillery has been unhelpful and dismissive regarding these incidents. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she became combative and unprofessional during our phone conversation.
It feels like there is a lack of accountability and proper oversight at this location, which is unacceptable. As a resident, I expect the post office staff to handle such issues with integrity and professionalism, especially when residents are victims of theft. I hope the management takes this matter seriously and improves the service at this branch to prevent further incidents.
January 2025- I'm increasingly concerned about the mail delivery service in our community, especially regarding our postal mid age Spanish carrier. I've been informed that he sorts the mail in the morning but doesn’t start his route until after 2 PM. To make matters worse, it seems he takes an immediate break at the community store, to play his numbers during his route, which is quite unprofessional.
As a result, our mail often arrives late—sometimes between 7-9 PM—well after business hours. I’ve raised these issues with the supervisor, Ms. Tillery, regarding informed delivery and mail not arriving, or possibly stolen. Ms. Tillery mentioned it could take up to 10 days for mail to arrive after being scanned with informed delivery. This has left me feeling uneasy about the security and timeliness of my mail. I hope necessary changes are made to improve this service.
**Update:** Since writing this review, and filing an online complaint and the mail carrier has refused to deliver my mail and informed me that he was instructed by post
office management to intercept it intentionally. It has now been over a week since my mail was supposed to be delivered.
I never knew that a mail carrier could intentionally choose not to deliver mail. All I have is proof that the mail was scanned through Informed Delivery. The lesson learned: never directly inquire about missing or stolen mail; just file a complaint for documentation and clarity in your concerns.
I feel as though I am being racially profiled.

I also had the misfortune to encounter this grey-haired misanthrope who apparently treats everyone like garbage. No help at all, literally tossed my postcard back at me and said to go use the self-serve. Won’t go back again.

I visited the post office on Ora Glen Drive on Sat. May 31st. It wasn't crowded, I stood in line and the older white man with the gray hair said come on up, then said oh no you are not ready, only because he saw papers in my hand. I was well prepared, I was purchasing a money order and the paper I had in my hand had the amount of money I needed to get for my money order. He didn't even apologize once he realized, his assumption was incorrect. After I got my money order, because he made me nervous, I forgot to get my stamps. I asked him could I purchase 2 stamps, he replies you should have asked me that before I rang up your money order (who says that to a customer). He has to be the rudest, meanest, ornery customer service postal worker I have ever came across. With all the negative reviews about this man, I am shocked he still has a job. He definitely should not be the first point of contact with his nasty and negative demeanor.

The white old man with long hair is VERY RUDE VERY POOR customer service I told him I wanted to ship an item back & he cut me off & brushed me off very rude like he was scared of me walking up & told me to handle my opened box on my own because they don’t package anything but I couldn’t even finish my sentence I wanted to ask how does it work because It was my first time & I asked the lady beside him with the navy blue shirt if it was ok to ship back with the same box it came in with since it still had the labels on & she said yes just purchase the tape from them & put new label on that’s all which is very easy and simple but old man could’ve just told me that and listen to me instead of being rude & cutting me off with a nasty attitude.

Extremely unprofessional on the phone while trying to track down a missing package. There were several points I caught them trying to cover up their tracks, eventually for them to finally admit they lost the package. USPS needs to re-evaluate this entire location.

The experience I had with one of the female workers with amazing glasses was an experience I appreciated and needed. She was extremely helpful and polite I truly appreciated her kind words in these times!
