I think everyone here is aware of the reputation of Beard resonators and lap steels, but I just wanted to note, I am the proud owner of a Beard acoustic. When I sit with friends who own Taylors or Martins, there is an obvious discomfort stemming from jealously at the tone quality after having paid what they did :-)

I put heavy strings on my dobro,and was playing in a higher key, and it caused the neck to crack at the base. A good sounding dobro, but it doesn’t appear to be well made

Excellent knowledge about their products & helpful customer service. Have had great experiences with this company. Only negative is their website needs to be updated to let you make a complete purchase. Had to call in my order every time. I would have given them 5 starts if it wasn't for that. ðŸ˜ðŸ‘
