This Dicks golf section is a joke. Complete waste of my time. I came in at 11am and asked the golf rep how long clubs take to get regripped. He said it takes 5 mins per club. He said someone will be here till we close at 9pm. I came back at 7:20pm to get them regripped. The other golf rep that was there told me he couldn’t re-grip them because they close.. yeah you close at 9pm. Its 7:20pm. Youll be done regripping them before 9pm. He told me that i could leave them overnight, and he cant regrip them because he has closing tasks to do lol. Just because you close at 9pm, doesnt mean you need to be out by 9pm. Im not leaving my $2,000 set somewhere overnight. Horrible customer service. Ridiculous.

Walked into the Hagerstown store and looked around for 15 minutes,not one associate approached me so I leave and am told 'have a nice day' from the associate with her head down glued to phone...NEVER again,and people wonder why there are warehouses galore!!!

This place is a joke I order some shoes from this store and the person that help me and took my information to order the right shoes told me I should get a confirmation email I waited 2 days nothing call the store and they are useless call customer support and same thing useless really bad customer service

Trey in the shoe department was absolutely outstanding!!! Please recognize him. His knowledge and attentiveness were truly exceptional. He didn’t just help me—he went out of his way to assist everyone around with patience and expertise. Thanks to his incredible service, we had such a great experience that we ended up purchasing three pairs of shoes! Trey is a gem—what a fantastic representative of your store!

Looking for a pair of good sneakers so i went to this store to shoe section and a man named Jacob seen me looking and ask if he could help he explained the difference in mfg and bought a pair of Brooks which had real nice support for my needs

Big sports super store. They have different areas for different sports or hobbies. Good equipment, basics and beyond. Prices are high, but if you need something sport related they probably have it.

This is a great sporting goods store located at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown. Very large interior and great speciality shopping options. They also have an indoor batting cage to test out bats which is cool. Nice place to check out!

I would strongly advise against purchasing equipment from this store. I bought a driver less than a week ago and just had the chance to try it out. When I did, I immediately noticed a rattling sound coming from the head of the driver, like a pebble bouncing around inside. I called Dick's Sporting Goods to inquire about exchanging the club, and the associate in the golf department assured me that an exchange would be possible.
When I arrived at the store, the manager came to inspect the club. Without even looking at my receipt or the club itself, he immediately said no. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he simply insisted that the club was now my responsibility. This was incredibly frustrating, especially after spending thousands of dollars at this store over the years. The poor treatment from the manager has made it clear I won’t be returning. It’s a poorly managed store with subpar customer service, and I truly hope the new Academy Sports across the street gives them some competition.

Hagerstown Dicks Sporting Goods is by far the best store with the best associates and management. I have NEVER had a bad experience in about 10 years going there. Will in the golf section will go above and beyond to help you with anything you need or have questions with. Very knowledgeable and a good person.
