Went in looking to buy a wheelchair (with Mom in a wheelchair). We browsed for 10 min until someone finally asked if we wanted help. I said yes, we'd like to look at wheelchairs. There are signs on the chairs that say don't sit, ask for a demonstration on several wheelchairs I would have been interested in purchasing. I asked about one, how high off the ground is this seat? Can we see it work?.... Blank awkward stares....Can you just put it on the ground so I can see how high it is compared to her chair now?....crickets....no, I can't move it. Ok, how about this one? Do you have any information on this one?.....Ok, I guess we will go home and buy something online. Geesh.

So unhelpful. I went in to get a simple hand brace for my teen. Lady refused to sell it to me unless I made him miss school and come in. Like hello, either take my money or I’m going to Walmart. Guess Walmart gets it cause I don’t do rude. Don’t waste your time or money. They apparently don’t need it.

Caring for aging parents has been very rewarding and yet a whole new experience of unknowns with so many medical needs. The bright spot has been having Sherri Moats to walk our family thru our questions and concerns. She is very skilled and knowledgeable with not only the products and services that they offer but also knows the ends and outs of insurances and the prescriptions we need to stay compliant and have items covered to keep our expenses down. She has been very tender and kind with my parents as they also visit the store for fittings. Thank you Sherri for being there when we need you!

My husband has been using Equipped for Life for medical supplies for the past two years. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They take time to answer any questions I may have. I also have had no problems renting medical equipment for travel.

My father's seat lift chair that he had for over 12 years died. We went to Equipped For Life for a new seat lift chair. Sherri worked with us. She is very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. She help set up the delivery date and time. She was a blessing to my mother and I.Today the chair was delivered. My father is very happy with his new chair. And the gentlemen came a little ealier with the delivery. Which made us even happier. Thank you Sherri and Equipped for Life.

The people who work here are kind, patient, real people. They were about to set me up within the day and take home a device I needed THAT DAY.Every single person accommodated me over the phone. There was no bitterness or impatience. They all worked together to help me and I’m so grateful for finding this supplier.

I injured myself playing pickleball. The opponent spiked it at a mean angle and I tried to change direction quickly. Ended up rolling my ankle and flopping on the ground. About 20 people watching and I heard laughter.I came to Equipped for Life to get a brace that could support my abnormal proportions. Sherri was an absolute angel. She was patient and helped me try on several fits. She found the perfect brace that was comfortable and supportive. I could have saved myself some time if I had listened to her initial recommendation because it was the one I ended up choosing. Now, I'm looking for ways to get injured so I can visit Sherri again.

STAY AWAY!! Horrible customer service! Walked in one lady was filing her nails and the other on her cellphone. Asked about picking up my cpap machine and was told I needed an appointment!? Nobody ever said I needed an appointment so I asked if I could get in real quick since I took off work and nobody was doing anything resembling work but of course they couldn't... guess I'm not the right skin color or have the right insurance or that place. So now my health needs are put on the back burner because they don't wanna do their jobs

EDIT: management contacted me about the issue and assured me the correct disciplinary measures would be taken and that i was heard!absolute worst experience I have ever had with medical staff. I was treated as if my disability isn’t real and was met with sarcasm at everything I said. I was respectful, understanding and prepared, yet was met with such nasty attitude because i’m young. The receptionist made a snide comment to me insinuating my disability wasn’t as real as someone else’s. I will be happy to elaborate further if there is interest in details. this was extremely anxiety inducing for me as well and clearly nothing new to this location.

I needed to get equipment for my mom on a Sunday. Dave communicated with me in a timely manner and the equipment arrived in the timeframe he gave me. Dave was polite and knowledgeable. However, the original equipment that was delivered would not accommodate her needs. I spoke with Tammy Monday morning, and made arrangements to have the equipment switched. Tammy was a pleasure to work it, she understood the problem with the equipment and my need for a late afternoon delivery. The Service Dept. worked with me to arrange a delivery time that worked with my work schedule. When the equipment arrived I was greeted with a smile from Tony and Wayne. Both of the gentleman were personable and easy to speak with. Tony was excellent explaining the equipment to mom, he was friendly and professional. Wayne was being trained and could not have asked for a better trainer. Thank you, Equipped for Life for all you do for our community!

Rude and unfriendly staff. Yesterday all the ladies I interacted with were not helpful and treated me as a bother. I believe if I was old and white I would have received much better customer service. Stay away staff are not nice.

Definitely do not recommend. Very rude and refused to help when I had a written prescription for a wheelchair & walker. Needed both, but was told I had to choose between 1 or the other. Had surgery & didn't receive a response for weeks. I was non weight bearing on my leg & couldn't get around. Went to another company in my area who had supplies to me the day I called. Definitely suggest Family Care Home Medical Equipment

Takes a week to get my call returned. Takes over a month to get supplies if using delivery. No human ever picks up the phone. Terrible service. Looking for a new place to get my supplies.
