I booked a reservation with Enterprise over the weekend. My Mom is in the hospital dying of stage 4 cancer. My husband had to go home to take care of our family which is 6 hours away from the hospital. I had a one way reservation set for Tuesday, September 12th with Enterprise. I get a call from Enterprise canceling my reservation on Monday, September 11th. The reason for canceling the reservation is because they needed the car more locally due to storms cancelling flights than me taking my one way trip home to be with my family after spending 2 weeks with my Mom who is dying of cancer.I was sitting with my Mom when I received the voicemail from Enterprise cancelling my reservation. The cancellation of my reservation resulted in me panicking on how I was going to get home to my family. I was lost on what to do next. I was nervous if I called another rental company I would encounter the same issue.I called the Hertz location in Hagerstown, MD. I spoke with Virginia. She was extremely helpful and kind! She was able to get me a reservation set with almost less than 24 hours notice.When I arrived at the location I was greeted quickly. I got to work with Virginia again when picking up my rental. She was very helpful and the process was fast! The car was in great shape and very clean. I was very pleased with my Hertz experience.Hertz will definitely be our first call next time!

Not the most friendly person was working when we picked up the car. I've called the local office multiple times to extend my reservation and to provide a confirmation number so I'm no longer being charged. (Insurance Paying for it). Can't get anyone to answer and the voicemail is full so I can't leave a message. They are now charging daily rates because they can't answer the phone. It currently says not busy on the website? Finally got everything settled. They was extremely busy when I showed up but they did an excellent job of getting everyone out in a timely manner.

I made my reservation 2 weeks in advanced and I went into to pick up the car and was told Hertz doesn’t accept Apple Credit Cards, which are just Mastercards. The woman at the desk told me they count accept it because the numbers are printed directly on the card and she has to type in the numbers. So I gave her the numbers connected to the card and she then said she can’t type in the numbers. She basically kept saying that she has to type in the numbers, but she can’t type in the numbers and this card was not acceptable per Hertz policy. I’ve rented several cars from Hertz in the last year using this card. I left and went to the Hertz in Winchester and they were able to get me in a car instantly. If not for the other location I wouldn’t have been able make my very important appointment in Buffalo, NY.

Very rude service we had some difficulties with debit card and we was little late just a awful day at that ... But we had plenty of cash and would not allow that to be an option even though it is .. only because we wasn't able to reserved the car for 24hrs ahead of time is why we couldn't pay cash

Make reservation for 5 pm pick up a rental car, made on time and its already closed?????Looks like they go home before store should be closed
