I've tried many salons and haven't been satisfied or happy until Jagger | James. I have long(ish) fine hair, which I like wavy and blonde. They are fantastic at listening to what *I* like, skilled to ensure it looks great, and kind attention during the appointment.

I was so happy with my experience. Everyone was friendly and professional. Lori somehow knew how to translate my vague descriptions of what I was looking for into exactly what I wanted. Best experience I have had at a salon, probably ever.

Coming from a guy who rarely likes a haircut I get, Brandon from Jagger James absolutely blew me away! Right as I walked in, I felt like a VIP guest. He didn't simply cut my hair, but provided an entire experience, and customized my cut specifically for my head shape and desired look. From now on, I won't let anyone touch my hair except Brandon! I highly recommendt!

I have to say I’m very disappointed. Based on reviews I was prepared to rave about this salon, but I never got the haircut I wanted. I did an on line request for an appointment on 4/20/22 and received a prompt email response telling me “We'll contact you shortly to confirm your appointment.” I had not heard from them as of yesterday, 4/25/22 and called and left a voicemail message. I still had not heard from them as of 1:00 today and called again. The young lady told me that “things had been crazy” and that they do usually respond to on line scheduling requests and voice mail messages. However, the soonest she could get me in with the stylist she recommended per my description of my hair was 5/12/22. So I told her that I just wanted to get in for a haircut in the soonest available slot and was then told that the recommended stylist was the one who had the most availability. I have already waited a week, just for an appointment, now I have to wait 2+ more weeks to get my haircut. I told her never mind. I am very disappointed. Now I will start my search for a stylist all over again. I will just say that they need to be more responsive to on line requests and voice mail messages and, that I really regret that I was not able to get a haircut here. They must do fantastic work.

I waited months for an appointment, but on my way there I was delayed by only a few minutes from a train crossing. They canceled my appointment instead of waiting a few minutes for me to arrive.On another appointment they did not let me drink water after working on my hair for over 4 hours.Please do not go here!

I was a repeat customer to get my hair cut. I Knocked on their locked glass door, to get their attention. (I had a mask on due to COVID procedures, because I remembered it was a requirement the last time I was there.).The masked receptionist opened the door, and I told her that I was here for an appointment, and I gave her my name. She told me to GO BACK to my car to CALL them to let them know that I am there. LoL. REALLY???? I said to the girl, “I AM HERE.” She repeated “ You have to go back to your car and CALL us to let us know that you are here. I repeated, “I am here.” She said I needed to CALL on the phone so she could ask me questions. I said “Go ahead and ask me questions… I am right here.” She said “No, you have to call.” She went to get the Manager, and he told me the same thing.With the amount of time we spent talking face to face, at the open door, and them refusing to let me in … things could had been resolved if they had just went ahead and asked me whatever questions.As an ex business owner, this episode did not make sense to me.Of course I was irritated… I didn’t get my hair cut, they missed out on a repeat customer, and my stylist missed out on her $20 tip.Everyone walks around in public, in restaurants, grocery stores, etc., WITHOUT MASKS. NO ONE wears a mask anymore. ANYWHERE . And I’m sure that outside of their job, that they don’t wear masks either.

Jill is a dream colorist, she works quickly and thoroughly. She is the first colorist that has kept my blonde hair from turning brassy in between visits (before meeting Jill I would want a gloss in between color services, but Jill has a magic mix and I don't need in between gloss/toner)! Jill is so great her schedule books out months in advance, but she is worth the wait if you can manage! Also the best scalp massage/conditioning treatment--so relaxing and apprecaited!Service: Hair coloring

So I tried scheduling an appointment. The receptionist booked one and told me that I have to come in for a consultation, which I get. Days later, she calls me and reschedules the consultation, then I get confused, and I missed my consultation appointment by accident. The receptionist tells me I have to pay 30 dollars to reschedule a consult ???? I have gotten my hair done in the best salons In North New Jersey/ NYC area and have never had to pay for a consultation appointment or cancelation fee of one. I could understand paying a missed apt. Fee if I missed an appointment that is taking a lot of the stylist's time, but a consult!!! It's such a pity that a high-end looking salon would look so cheap and money-hungry. Oh well, they lost a high maintenance client that's usually in the salon at least 3 times per month for being greedy.

Cole gave not only a fantastic haircut, but an experience to match. Cannot go anywhere else and this is my first visit. Sadly, I will need to find another professional within as Cole will be heading to the service very soon; but I will undoubtedly be back.Thank you for providing both a wonderful atmosphere and expertise.

This place is AMAZING!! They have extremely talented stylists and are up-to-date with new techniques. I've never been so in love with my hair before!! I'm thankful I made the change to this salon and will never look back!

I have been trying to look for a good hair salon for my mom. She is very shy and speaks little English. As a result do to Covid, I couldn’t be with my mom. Jaggar Salon made my mom feel very comfortable and she was so happy with her new hair color! She said that Hali did an amazing job and she was very nice to her! Thank you!

This salon has shown their Professionalism through the Covid crisis. They kept me up to date with all the changes and accommodated me. One of the owners went as far as to charge me the rate of the stylist who was not available. I love the work they do, the care they show their clients and the accommodations they give to their clients. Top notch staff.
