I recently had a very pleasant shopping experience at the Garland Groh location in Hagerstown Maryland, due to the assistance of my sales person, Kevin. When I walked in the store he was quickly able to zero in on the type of mattress that I was shopping for. He helped me find the firmness of mattress I was looking for, and showed me the different ones that they had available. He was able to describe the difference between the several mattresses in words I could understand, and set me up with an excellent deal for what I was shopping for. I was even lucky enough to get a free platform that raises the head of the bed at the push of a button. I am looking forward to receiving it!

Extremely happy with the entire experience! My salesman, Travis, was very professional, listened to what I wanted, and didn’t try to get me to spend more than I budgeted. With a 100-night comfort exchange policy and a 10 year warranty, I felt comfortable making the purchase. The delivery was on time and the drivers were polite and professional. Highly recommend!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.Previously, I left a good review, but that was before I had to deal with the warranty, but not only that, every person I had spoken to about having it completed. First, the salesperson by the valley mall tried having it processed, but he failed to change the phone number on the account and famous words from this company, "I'll call you right back." Five days went by, and I heard nothing, so I went over to the store located by Best Buy, hoping to get this sorted, but this visit only made matters worse. I was told my mattress was discontinued, so I couldn't just do a swap out. Fine, whatever, but then after I picked a mattress, I made a date for the delivery, and AFTER I paid the 99 dollars, he failed to tell me that they don't have that mattress in stock. So then the date changed for a week l later. Day of delivery, I got the notification about it getting delivered, and not only did I not update my number, but I did not update my address either. They were going to deliver it to an old address... I left a voice mail for the warehouse and received a call in the morning. They couldn't deliver that day and will have to reschedule. She said when it comes back, we'll give you a call at 3.. Never got a call back.. I called the salesperson by the best buy and he tried to help with telling me at the end, ill call you back when I get from the warehouse and of course, didn't receive a call back. I called customer service, hoping they could help. The lady was reassuring, and she would schedule it for the 22nd, and if it could be delivered sooner, she would call back and supposedly left a note to call back in the morning. Never got a call back, no note was made, and on the 22nd, no one came. Come to find out, the delivery date was for the 26th. 4 weeks after, it was supposed to originally get delivered. I was transferred to a supervisor when I called back and left a voice mail, and the guy didn't even bother to call me back.. This entire time, I've had a spring jamming in my back from the old mattress-that is only 3 years old - getting no sleep at all.

We could not have been happier with the service and attention we received while visiting Mattress Warehouse on Garland Groh Blvd today. Kevin, the representative assisting us never pressured us and was not pushy. He answered our questions and gave very good advice. Despte some mattresses being much more expensive, he saw that my wife was happiest with a mid ranged priced mattress and made it clear our comfort was more important than a higher priced mattress. We had done a lot of research on what mattresses were best for our sleeping style and his advice never contradicted what we had researched. He got our business because of his professionalism, and the mattress set was exactly what we wanted and at the right price. Ask for Kevin when visiting this store or when shopping for a mattress.

Kevin was amazing and he went above and beyond his service and found the perfect bed for my mom. He also gave me instructions on verifying the new mattress so we will get the right one. If I lived in Hagerstown Maryland this would be my one stop to get my mattress.

After a lot of back and forth with different mattress companies, I purchased a Temper-Pedic mattress from Mattress Warehouse. I have medical issues which have caused me to sleep in a recliner for the past year. I finally took the plunge and purchased a high-end ($8K) mattress, thinking I am going to get what I pay for. My sales Rep, Kevin, was GREAT! He made the buying process smooth. He did tell me there is a break-in period, however, the bed was so uncomfortable, I could not sleep. I never expected the amount of difference from the store model to the one that was delivered. It was like comparing a beanbag chair to a sheet of plywood. I called the store the next morning and was referred to JC (manager in Frederick) and explained how uncomfortable the bed was. He laughed and said it needed broke in (I get it, but how do you break a bed in, if you can't even lay in it?). JC said the policy is that we must keep the bed for 30 days before changing it out (for $250). After reminding him the bed cannot be slept in for 30 days, he said he'll change the 30 days to 10 days. Again 10 days or 30 days, I could not even lay in the bed for more than 5 minutes. I was even willing to bring the bed back to the store or warehouse. JC's other option was for us to go to the Frederick location and see if there was another mattress that would suit us. Which is fine and I appreciated that offer, however, if the mattress was less money, we would lose the difference. If the new mattress was more expensive, we would have to pay the difference. I don't feel that is fair and prefer to no longer do business with companies that have this policy. After further research Temper-Pedic does offer a full refund policy, however, there is a disclaimer that retailers return policy trumps the manufacturers. So, as it stands, Mattress Warehouse took my old bed, and I can't sleep in my new ($8K) bed. Not a good experience.
