Haven’t purchased a car for 10 years. The entire experience with Tysheem Francis was excellent - no pressure, just information needed to make a good decision. Friendly, but professional atmosphere and process. Highly recommend this dealership and love my Subaru Outback.

I had a great buying experience with Sheehy Subaru of Hagerstown. My sales rep Tysheem and the general sales manager Max communicated with me promptly and accurately. Everything they told me, they lived up to. Most of us have dealt with arrogant, dishonest, or slick car sales people at some point in our lives. Ty, Max, and Kat in finance are the opposite of that. Helpful, courteous, and not pushy. I felt like everyone I encountered at Sheehy Hagerstown appreciated my business, and I would not hesitate to send friends and family there.

Best car buying experience ever!We recently purchased our first Subaru from Noah and the Team at Sheehy Subaru in Hagerstown, MD. Everyone we dealt with at this dealership was extremely helpful and patient with us during this process. We love the car and the level of service and personal attention we received.

I wish I could leave more than five stars for the service department. I was in an accident and had my car and trailer towed to Sheehy Subaru. When I arrived, I was very stressed, and Jessica Oliver was incredibly patient and kind to me. They quickly assessed the damages and gave me a clear price for the repairs. The waiting area was spacious and they had sandwiches, water, coffee, snacks, and a quiet room to work in.After some initial work, it became clear that the wheels also needed replaced. They didn't have them in stock but could send someone to another shop to get them overnight. Jessica organized a shuttle to get me to and from a hotel. The repairs were done the next morning as promised. They even found a tire for my trailer, which is outside of the work they usually do.All in, they made an extremely stressful two days much easier for me. Should I need major service in the future, I'll be driving out to Hagerstown even though it's over an hour away.

We've purchased a couple vehicles and always have our Subarus serviced here. We've always had great experiences at Hagerstown Sheehy. The mechanics there do a great job and know the Subaru brand very well.

Every process was great until I drove off the lot with my brand new car. I bought the car on June 11th. I’m still running on temporary tags. I’ve had to regular new 30 day tags TWICE now. I requested my second set of 30 day tags 4 days ago and they still haven’t been FedEx’d over night like Max said he would do Saturday morning. He told me Monday he overnighted them on Saturday and he would send me the tracking number via email. I haven’t heard anything from him and today is Tuesday. I definitely should have received them by now. The wireless charger I bought separately and had installed by their service department overheats my phone to the point it shuts itself off. I took the car back to their service department because Max said they would trouble shoot it and also replace it with a new one to determine if the charger was just bad. They did NOT replace the charger. Instead they stated verbally and in writing that the charger issue is a known issue with Subaru’s wireless chargers and sent me on my way. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I paid extra for a wireless charger I can’t use or my phone gets as hot as an iron.Kate just called me and told me she had my temporary tags in her hand and she would overnight them tomorrow morning. I’ve asked for a status on my title multiple times since July and I have yet to receive an answer.I was supposed to have RESISTAL applied to my car the day I took my car in for the charger install (and the moonroof deflector installed). They did not apply the product. This product that I paid too much for and was an addition to the cost of my car, I was told was supposed to help with chips, scratches, sap, and the like. Well, my car had less than 1000 miles on it when I noticed a chip on the back passenger side fender. Had the RESISTAL been applied as requested, this chip could’ve been averted. Oh! And now I’m told by Max, this chip isn’t covered under the $8K worth of “extras/warranties” I purchased outside of the purchase price of the car.I get the run around every time I call to have an issue addressed. Nobody seems to know the answers or statuses to my questions. I was told my car came with the rear spoiler. It did not. When I said I wanted to order it, they told me not a problem and it would be in on June 18th (7 days after my purchase). When I called after the 18th to see if my spoiler came in, they told me it was on back order with no ETA. I also told them I wanted to purchase door scuff protectors. They told me those were on back order too. When I called CMA Subaru, they told me they could have the door scuff protectors in 2-3 days.I also used Sheehy’s online form to submit a question. I requested their General Manager (GM) contact me ASAP. Within minutes, Max called to see what he could help me with. I again requested to speak to the GM. Max said he was out of the office Monday, the 4th and Max would have him call me on the 5th. It’s the 5th at 7:00 pm and I’m still waiting for that phone call.In conclusion, I would NOT recommend Sheehy Hagerstown Subaru to anybody that appreciates “after purchase customer service.” I’ve never experienced Sales persons so two faced. I wish I would have spent my money at a dealership that followed thru with what they said and addressed my issues as requests. Good luck to those of you who choose this dealership. I hope your experience is better than mine.

Highly recommend Sheehy to anyone who is looking for a car! Dennis and Kate were FANTASTIC! They were determined to get exactly what I wanted and did just that! They were 100% honest with me the whole time and made the car buying process easy! They walked me through the whole process being a first time car buyer and Dennis still checks in from time to time to make sure all is well with the car!

I just bought a 2015 Subaru Forester. Leo was my salesperson and Kat handled financing. They were by far the best I have ever had. I knew what I was looking for and in emails prior to visiting Leo had the car pulled and ready for me when I got there. I took it for a drive and it was quite nice. He went over a ton of paperwork for it and explained everything including questions I had. When I made the decision to purchase the vehicle he turned me over to Kat. They had me wait in the customer lounge and Leo came to update me on what was happening. Once Kat had taken over she came to keep me updated until it was time to sign the paperwork. These two are top notch.Roberto was also pleasant to work with the next day when I went back for paperwork on old car. Restrooms were very clean and they had a snack bar with different snacks, coffee and bottled water.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHEEHY SUBARU.

I had the pleasure of Tabitha’s guidance in learning how to use various features of my recently purchased Forester. She’s so enthusiastic & wonderful to have as a “teacher”. She took a lot of time to go over all the features & made sure I understood the functions. The owner’s manual wasn’t helpful. I had no idea my Forester had so much to offer & wouldn’t have known w/o Tabitha’s patient explanations & cheerful disposition. Job well done Tabitha!

Sheehy was the only dealership that had the exact car I wanted back when all other dealerships around me had empty lots. Leo was so patient and helpful to me, and I'd be happy to buy my next car from him and Sheehy. The whole process was over in a few hours. They also handled all of the title work since I was out of state, and they let me leave my car in the parking lot until I could pick it up later that week. It was an all-around great experience, and I'd happily go back again!

The initial interaction with my salesman was very good. The gentleman from finance was extremely rude to me because I'm a veteran of the US military and he said several nasty comments about the service.

They sold me a lemon and will not do anything about it . My brand new car I bought off the truck has been in the shop 7 times within the year I bought it . They proceeded to take my car 45 mins away several times to some random house ( I have pictures and videos to prove it ) the managers and even district managers won’t call anyone back . Now I’m out a car and about 20 thousand dollars

I was extremely pleased with the professional service provided by Melissa and Max at Sheehy Subaru. They were easy to work with and didn't get pushy for a sale. They both worked very hard to get me the deal I was looking for. Kat in Finance found me a good finance rate and explained everything thoroughly. This was my second purchase with Sheehy Subaru and both times I had an excellent experience.Thanks,Dan

Buying a car from the dealership was great. Our salesman was great and finalizing everything with the financial person was great. However we decided that the VIP package we purchased was not a good deal for us. After making several calls and leaving messages,no one returned our calls. Finally got through and drove back to Hagerstown to make sure everything was good. We were told that the paperwork for our refund had been sent to the correct office for a our refund. That was the 16th of March. We still have not received our refund. Two weeks ago I was told by Max that he would check it out and get back to me by the end of the day. I am still waiting for his call. Now our good sales experience has been soured by the follow through.On June 5 we finally got our refund and we are very pleased. Sheehy came through. Having worked most of my life for small independent companies maybe I didn’t understand the bureaucracy of large company and how long it takes to process a refund. Everything thing at Sheehy Subaru was great so thanks Sheehy but please return phone calls.
