I was in the wise today around 1:00 p.m. and there was a gentleman an employee working there in the serial aisle and he had his hands down his pants that is so gross and against all health codes

I will NEVER shop at the Weis store at Robert's Fields again. Not once but twice now I have purchased ground beef from them that was grey/green on the inside of the package. The first time it happened it was Christmas Eve and the package had a sell date of that day. Since I was using it that night the date was not an issue, however when I went to use the beef that night the inside of the package was grey and nasty. I took pictures of the bad meat and went back to the store the day after Christmas and spoke to the manager. While he did ultimately refund my money, his condescending "speech" he gave me was down right rude. I opted at that time not to make Weis the store I shopped at. It's been almost two years since I have used this store for anything except a quick pick up of one or two items until this past Friday. With all of the craziness of the COVID-19 outbreak I found myself going to Weis trying to find items that I was unable to get elsewhere. I made the mistake of purchasing ground beef once again only to have the same result. According to my receipt and the date time stamp on the package of meat, I got there just as the meat was put in the display case. I refrigerated the meat overnight and didn't open it until the next day so that I could break down the package into smaller portions. When I cut into the meat it was riddled with grey discolored meat throughout. I understand that meat can and will discolor from exposure to air, BUT that doesn't happen immediately when air touches it. Meat must be out a minimum of two hours before this starts to happen so just how long was this meat sitting out before they packaged it? Would you want to take the chance that it was out much longer then two hours? Or would you do like I did and take pictures and go back to the store and ask for a refund? This time my experience was unbelievable. I went to the customer service desk only to see a sign saying NO RETURNS during this time. No returns seriously? The country is in crisis and instead of the company caring about the community and whats right and wrong they decide to say no returns even if the product purchased is of questionable freshness? The young lady at the customer service desk was shocked by the pictures, but the manager was RUDE and NASTY. I got the same "canned speech" about how meat oxidizes that I got from the previous manager, I guess that they teach them that in management training class, and I was refused a refund. I was told that she has been doing this for 30+ years and every package of meat she has ever bought looks like that on the inside. I myself am 66 and have never gotten meat from any other grocery that looked like that, nor in the 25 years of retail management that I worked have I ever treated a customer that way. I cannot believe that this is what the company wants from its managers nor can I believe that the company is taking the no refund approach during these unsettled times. Way to go WEIS, there is nothing like looking out for yourselves and caring nothing for the community you are serving. I will not ever use this store again for any reason, not even my one or two item needs. I cannot support these actions and hope that others won't as well.

Meghan branscome has made many remarks about her customers. Every time I go to her register I continue to receive dirty looks. Weis has always been a community grocery store where I feel welcomed and at home. But with this girl working here, I feel hated, out of place, anxious. I never thought a human being could make me so nervous. She is constantly talking about drama, rolling her eyes at employees and starting arguments. I've heard her threaten to charge many people at her work place. As long as she works there I will no longer be shopping at the hampstead weis markets in Hanover pike.

This is our neighborhood store.Theyre big enough to have what I need but small enough to care. The pharmacy is helpful and friendly- this is important...I can pick out a pot roast on my own!I'm not a fan of self checkout but usually someone will save me.It keeps my cussing down to a minimum.

I accidentally dropped my wallet in the parking lot of the Hampstead Weis, and an employee found it, looked up my info in their system, and called me before I even knew it was missing! The wallet also contained cash, which was all still there! I am consistently impressed by their friendliness, professionalism, and overall goodwill.
