I despise this place and its not the fault of anyone who works on location here. The medical industry is broken. No other business does not care how unhappy the customer is or how many complaints they have. Because you HAVE to get your bloodwork done, they put you through the wringer. The people who work here do try and do a good job but they're asked to do too much. Any other business would hire an intern, retired nurse or phlebotomy student to come in at the busiest hours to keep things moving faster.I have been putting blood work off since before the pandemic because of how much I hate getting it done, and I have zero problem with the act of the blood being drawn. When someone is openly and consciously willing to neglect their health to avoid you, your industry is irreparably broken.

The layout of this lab is terrible. There is absolutely NO privacy. Receptionist is behind glass and is almost shouting to people. Everyone in the waiting area can hear what is being said at the desk. Then the phlebotomist calls out names from the exam room in a very loud voice. The restroom is near the entrance and then the patient has to carry a specimen all the way back, past the waiting area to a place by the exam rooms. Again NO privacy for patients! This center should be closed and redesigned to provide more privacy and less yelling.

Not sure why reviews are low for this location because we had wonderful service by Julie. Location was clean, Julie was friendly, wait time was under 5 minutes with an appointment. My 8 yr old daughter needed bloodwork done and Julie was so friendly and very quick. Definitely will be using this location in the future.

Just had my blood work done by Ms. Sharon and I am not a fan whatsoever of having blood drawn. I get very queasy. BUT Ms. Sharon was PHENOMENAL. I mean REALLY PHENOMENAL. I did not feel ANYTHING. The next time I need bloodwork done I am requesting her.

Set appointment online and did precheck in. Was notified once my appointment was ready. Came in and was greeted by friendly front office. Exchanged paperwork and was called immediately for blood draw. The phlebotomist was amazing and friendly, and got blood in first attempt. Was there maybe 5 minutes total. Would go again!

Very poor. They have sent my results to the wrong Doctor and, recently, have lost the results. There has to be a better lab than Labcorp

I am not a big fan of having blood drawn and typically wouldn't leave a review. After seeing the fairly low ratings for various local Labcorp locations, I wanted to do my part to increase that. The staff was wonderfully accommodating. Online check-in was a breeze and they took great care of me. This was the best blood draw experience that I can remember. Well done Labcorp Hampstead.
